Mommar Posted yesterday at 04:35 AM Author Posted yesterday at 04:35 AM What's funny is that my Mom LOVED Real Genius, so I saw it a lot, so I have a weird association with Val Kilmer and Tears For Fears. I disagree with that article, I like The Saint. Quote
Valkyrie Hunter D Posted yesterday at 04:51 AM Posted yesterday at 04:51 AM Damn, NOT an April Fool's joke. Sad to see him go. Quote
505thAirborne Posted yesterday at 05:10 AM Posted yesterday at 05:10 AM Thank you for the countless amazing characters that you played and the adventures you took us on through cinema. RIP Val Kilmer. ("I'm your Huckleberry.") Quote
m0n5t3r Posted yesterday at 05:21 AM Posted yesterday at 05:21 AM (edited) Too young. I still watch Top Secret for some nostalgic laughs, and The Saint, which is my wife's favorite Val movie, every now and then. I felt a little sad when I watched his documentary. RIP. There were so many joke stories about everything from the Superman movie getting canceled to new top gun sequels that I had to check a few spots to make sure it was true and unfortunately it is. It was a really downer after seeing him comeback in a limited way and I had hoped he would have been around much longer Quote

TangledThorns Posted 20 hours ago Posted 20 hours ago Val's health has been terrible because of the cancer and surgeries for it. If it wasn't for that I'm sure Val Kilmer would still be making awesome movies or streaming series. Hope he has found peace. Quote
Thom Posted 16 hours ago Posted 16 hours ago (edited) Man was a true professional in his trade. Every role he took, he went all-in and made us believe. Thank you for the fun movies of my youth, as Nick Rivers and Chris Knight, and the ever-irreverent Madmartigan, and into early adult-hood as the very cool Ice Man, bringing to life the times of Jim Morrison, and embodying the epitome of stalwart friendship as old Doc Holiday... and really far too many others to list! Just thank you, Val Kilmer. You will be impossible to NOT miss, Edited 10 hours ago by Thom Quote
derex3592 Posted 12 hours ago Posted 12 hours ago R.I.P. sir! Totally have to mention Heat, The Doors, and one of my all time favs, Ghost and The Darkness, along with all the others! Thank you for all the memories! God Speed ICE MAN!!! Quote
Big s Posted 9 hours ago Posted 9 hours ago It’s far easier for me to make a list of his two movies I didn’t like (Batman and Dr Moreau) than to list everything great he’s done. Willow, the Doors, Top Gun and more Top Gun, Top Secret and quite a few others are absolute treasures. He was a great actor and since I’ve heard the news, I’ve been feeling a down. Maybe I’ll watch one of his fun ones to bring up my spirits later Quote
Hikuro Posted 7 hours ago Posted 7 hours ago I never really thought about it until now, but his son sounds an awful lot like him. Quote
