That's at least a baseline, $50 or so before international shipping and proxy fees for a used one. So like $80ish might be reasonable for one That's in good condition then? Quote

If you are looking to attract buyers who understand true market demand driven prices...yes As always, the final selling price will depend on several variables...so it's always good to stay flexible on price, especially if you are looking for a quicker sale...good luck! Fortunately not much need for a quick sale. The list of what I'm selling off is over 150 entries long. I'll put up a few for sale threads once I'm done pricing everything out. Quote
LBluesummers Posted June 22, 2024 Posted June 22, 2024 Any thoughts on how much PF VF-0S and VF-0D (and YF-19 for that matter) in mint sealed condition are currently going for? These seem to transact so infrequently, even on YJ Auctions, that it's hard to get a sense for what they're worth. I am looking to move on from these 3 (and a few others) and would appreciate any input. Thanks in advance. Quote

LBluesummers Posted June 24, 2024 Posted June 24, 2024 Thanks for this. How does one adjust for opened versus unopened and damaged vs undamaged packaging? Really tough to gauge when you only get a couple of transactions every few months. Quote

How does one adjust for opened versus unopened and damaged vs undamaged packaging? Really tough to gauge when you only get a couple of transactions every few months. You really can't use second hand shops...especially Mandarake...to give you an actual market price value for these items and other collectibles....the reason is because shops like Mandarake work and set prices more like a pawn shop....in other words...they set the price they are willing to buy your item, which is always less than actual market price (value derived from an open auction like YJA where the price is determined by actual demand-supply at the time of sale)...and then set the listed price based on whatever profit they are willing to accept for the item... As far as fine tuning the listing price....there are several variables at play....some of those will include, as you mentioned, opened vs unopened and damaged vs undamaged packaging....other things could be accessories missing or not....actual demand at the time you are looking to sell....competing offers...and so many more.... Look at the first post of this thread for more info....good luck! Edited June 24, 2024 by jvmacross Quote

Really tough to gauge when you only get a couple of transactions every few months. @jvmacross is on the money for market value. So I agree with him. Just specifically, for Arcadia and most Yamato items, the boxes were never sealed so buyers will not make a fuss as long as the item is mint. for boxes that are taped sealed for bandai collectors will care more. Mandarake always lists package damaged but you have to look at the photos. Most of the items I received from them had pristine boxes and they will put up photos and specifically mention if the boxes have a crushed corner or any tears with close up pics. Fyi, it's really hard to gauge for the 0D premium since YAJ has only one sold recently and not much data, (I have two copies never opened myself) but i've seen a few go for 600 on ebay second hand earlier this year but couldn't find a record of them in sold listings when i checked. I would've took the Mandarake one instantly if i was in the market for one instead posting it here. (it's sold out now btw) most MWer members will look at Mandarake first to gauge what they're willing to pay before looking elsewhere. anyways, good luck on your sales!!! jrhudson311 Posted July 4, 2024 Posted July 4, 2024 What is the current going rate for this? Complete including boxes Transformed once obviously. Quote
Special Sauce Posted July 4, 2024 Posted July 4, 2024 I've seen the armor sets go for between $150-$200 Quote
rsvictor1976 Posted September 10, 2024 Posted September 10, 2024 (edited) Can someone tell me what this is worth? The box is in good condition with no tears. The only issues the toy are 1) the knee joints are loose from having a wide space in-between the teeth of the ratcheting gears they used for it, 2) a small nick inside the bottom half of the heat shield from having to fish it out to raise it up, 3) a small crack on one of the nek cavity filler. Otherwise all the other joints are good and the nick doesn't show up in front when it's in Battloid mode. Edited September 12, 2024 by rsvictor1976 Quote
NZEOD Posted Sunday at 10:17 PM Posted Sunday at 10:17 PM Wife has asked for a clear out of a ton of stuff so a lot of my Macross stuff I haven't given to the kids to play with is going. To start with, are these things actually worth anything or should my boy get them to play with? Quote

I don’t know their actual worth, but I think there’s a thread here that shows going rates of sale for certain toys and such. Quote
jenius Posted yesterday at 12:05 AM Posted yesterday at 12:05 AM What are they like in the box? Still have the unused sticker sheets? We can find some comps on Yahoo Japan. I know one of mine is beat up and is like to replace it. Quote
NZEOD Posted yesterday at 03:34 AM Posted yesterday at 03:34 AM Sold to a guy in OZ. Pretty much were in perfect condition and never been out of the box. Decals included. Quote
Bolt Posted yesterday at 04:16 AM Posted yesterday at 04:16 AM Those are awesome! I had the Tomahawk as a kid. A complete set would definitely be worth something. Quote
Big s Posted 11 hours ago Posted 11 hours ago Definitely don’t see them in that condition often , if ever Quote

The Takatoku Destroids from the "Macross Collection Series" are not worth as much as they used to these days....with box and all contents in decent shape they average about 3500 JPY....the 2 Battroids from this set still command a higher resale value, as well as, the Destroid Monster....so if you got anywhere from about 25 to 50 usd for each to account for the proxy fees and int'l shipping fee one would need to pay to buy them straight from a Japan auction or retail shop, then you did well... Here is a full set.... https://www.macrossworld.com/mwf/topic/48218-takatoku-toys-macross-collection-series/#comment-1525158 A couple of things to watch for on these collectibles are bad yellowing on the Battroid figures and a poor leg design on the Destroid Monster that often leads to a broken leg...
