I'm in the market for a 1/48, but I've only been watching them for a few months. I just got an Arcadia 1/60 so I'm not too keen on dropping another ~$200, but if this is a really good deal, then I might grab it. If it is just kinda "meh," I'll hold off.

It's not bad....but with some determination, patience and luck...you could possibly save around 50 usd if you found one via YJA...even after fees and international shipping...

Perhaps it's just my eyes, but the one on Anime-Export looks a little yellowed...you may want to inquire about it before purchasing it...if you decide to go for it...good luck!

as JV said, you'd want to inquire regarding the possible yellowing.. it could just be the poor quality pics & lighting making it look that way but you still want to be sure about it as you reeeaaalllyyy don't want something with off color plastics.

pricing wise its ok... though keeping in mind this is a 1:48 so essentially you are getting more Valkyrie for your dollar but the general consensus is that the 1:48's aren't quite as correct in physical proportions as the v2 1:60's toys.

Also it depends on what scale toy you want to pursue or you don't mind having mixed scale collections.

have seen them go a bit cheaper but you might have to put in the effort to find better pricing without sacrificing condition. But I have also noticed a slow upward pricing trend on the 48's over the last couple of years as they get older and probably more desirable.

Thanks for the help guys, I think I'll hold off. The hunt is half the fun for me, so if this is just an OK deal, I'll keep looking.

I didn't really notice the color issue, so it's good to have more experienced eyes take a look at things.

Yamato VF-1A Roy S&SP Bundle, MIB transformed once to check the shoulder, they were broken out of the box of course and i repaired them.

Yamato VF-1J Hikaru Gray Goggles ver. One head was broken and repaired, seller failed to disclose that when i got it.

Super Parts - atleast Y22000-25000. There's one at Mandarake at Y25000.

As for the VF-1 Valks, I've seen some Y35000-45000 before. There's one at YJA for weathered VF-1S Hikaru with Super/Strike parts for Y57000 just to give you idea.

Arcadia just reissued it so look at what that's selling for and then knock some money off because yours is a version that has shoulders people fear and a rainbow canopy that can also be problematic.

Going rate on a Yamato 1/60 VF-11B is around 300 USD depending on overall condition......

I'm guessing 4 and 5 are the 1/72 versions. Pretty sweet deal if they're the 1/60 though!

4 and 5 are 1/72 scale not 1/60 but seem fair. For reference:

But yeah, like barurutor said, it's better to save for a V2 versions. But I understand your point. Those are still getting expensive day after day.

What would the going rate be on a CLAT edition of the 1/24 Yamato patlabor? 

I can currently get one for around $350. Is this a fair price (considering these patlabors are rather rare)?

The other option would be an Ingram Unit 1 (Alphonse) with scratched head and loose waist joint for a significantly higher $450.

The Bandai Advance VF-19 still seems to keep going up---is it having any effect on the Arcadia YF-19's price?  Thinking of selling my Arcadia, but if all anyone wants is the Advance version, maybe I'll hold on for a while.
