Hey guys, is this a fair price for a VT-1 1/60?

cheers! :)

I would say yes, as it appears to be MISB. However, it is not the Yamato V2.

It is the Yamato V1 VT-1 that must have the legs removed to transform between the three modes.

Here are some price comparisons for recently closed Yahoo Japan Auctions for Yamato V1 and V2 VT-1's (add about 10% for proxy fees and international shipping fees to your country to get an estimate of your actual cost):

Ah cool thanks JV,

i'll have a ponder as i probably would just keep this in fighter mode....

This might sound a bit stupid, but have to ask:

how much is a 1/72 Bandai VF-1S head (model kit) worth?

If you're asking about the transforming kit, the lowest should probably around $58. Highest around $80. Btw, that's eBay prices. The cheapest one from Amazon is $52. HLJ has them for $32(Y3600), though it's listed as 'backordered'.

How much is a Yamato 1/60 Cavaliers (blue valk) going for lately? Taken out of the box and transformed/posed but otherwise box and figure are in fine shape.

Last few sold via YJA...

http://page13.auctions.yahoo.co.jp/jp/auction/r149016331

Average out the final auction prices and convert to USD based on current exchange rates.....add 10% for proxy fees to the average amount....add about 30-40 USD for shipping within Japan and to your home....

This will total the approximate cost of what it would cost someone to buy one directly from Japan.....you can then match it, set it lower or set it higher....

Used but complete items usually sell for 5-10% less than a MISB sample.....

Hope this helps....

Is that correct? $1399 andnot $13.99? Looks like you haven't checked HLJ yet. It's white so you can paint it. ;)

How much is my Yamato 1/3000 SDF-1 worth? I saw one with a ripped box in Madarake for Y100,000 but mine has a perfect box. Mine is displayed but mint. Then I saw some on ebay for close to $3000?!

$1000 above I say it's ok. Since YJA is already at that starting price. But $3000? That's too much I believe. That's not even for the 1/2000 scale, right? And what region of eBay is that? I browsed the US, and there's no $3000 SDF-1. The only postings I saw were between $999-1800.

Hey guys, just wondering how much a 1/60 VF-19 Kai Fire should be?

cheeeeeeeeeers! :-)

On average, someone can place a winning final bid on YJA and have it shipped to their doorstep for about 200 USD after all fees are factored into the purchase.

I have an old orguss in 1/60 scale. He's not perfect as you can see. His foot is broken and he has gunk in his weapons screw hole. I'm not sure if I want to sell it or not but I'm curious to the value. What ya think?

Looks like you and this guy have the same feet problem. Though his has more yellowing going on. He's selling it for $79.99. But you can check some eBay and Yahoo Japan to get an idea. Hope that helps. ;)

I'm curious. What was the big difference in the Bandai Renewal Versions from the original Frontier run items? I was checking ebay prices and I about fell off my bed at most of them. Were they really limited?

Thanks!

How much should I pay for a 1/72 Resin Heavy Missile system for the Regult? Note, this is JUST the missile system not the Regult as well.

The short answer....skip eBay and select a proxy bidding service....then search on YJA.....

Here is a list of recent completed auctions for Bandai VF-25's....look at the ending prices for the renewals to get an idea of what they will cost you...if you are patient you should be able to pick most up for less than 20k JPY plus proxy and shipping fees.....

For a limited, show exclusive item like this....you are more or less at the mercy of the seller and your own idea of what it is worth to you....you are going to be limited in the locations in which you can buy it.....

I would say if you are comfortable with the starting bid....go for it....I have seen this one relisted several times so you are likely to win it at the starting bid.....unless he shills you into paying more.....

Yeah... It sucks to be obsessed with an idea that requires I really "need" it and have dumped a big snipe bid on it

Posted

I would have advised to have just bid at the last minute...it would have not have added another 5 minutes to the clock as long as you were the only bidder.....the auction would have been over before any other potential buyer had a chance to think about placing a bid....let alone sufficient time to actually place it!

A snipe bid is like coming out of hyperspace to close to a planetary system....

Your competition now knows you are there and may come out to challenge you after being on the fence for a long time when "no one else wanted it"...

The snipe bid comes in automatically at the 5 minute mark....that is more than enough time for anyone to mount a counter bid....

As long as no one else has had their eyes on it....you should be OK.....

pretty sure it finishes while I'm at work so, no go there

hmm ok I got it wrong with how sniper bids worked. I thought it was like eBay where it bid UP TO your maximum sniper bid... so... I made a few sellers happy recently paying good prices! Damn it!! Typical NCO... do something, screw it up THEN go read the instructions...

Any ideas on what these might be worth? I can't find any recent history on ebay. Thanks!

50-100 USD

Most recent auction would be this one....

1/48 VF-1A goes for about 100 USD.....SSP set goes for about 50-100 USD....
