Can I check how much would an unopened VF-19P go for?

I've checked Yahoo auctions but the prices don't seem exactly reliable. The last one I saw sold for 90+K JPY.

YJA is going to be the best indicator of what open market pricing will be for any given collectible...if you saw one go for that price...then that's what they are fetching these days...especially brand new, never taken out of the box...you may get lucky and find a used one for less, but at most it may be 10-20% less....interest in that specific release has gained momentum....

If you are willing to wait...it's possible that Arcadia may re-release it now that they seem to be on Dynamite 7 with their soon to release VF-5000...

Happy Hunting!

I would also check Mandrake. But that's more of a used outlet, they have great prices and usually their items are in way better shape than listed. For new , unopened, I would assume $400.

Thanks Bolt! I saw that you sold one recently. Do you mind sharing how much you let yours go for?

I priced mine to sell. And it did, within several hours. I'll just say it was under $200 and in perfect condition.

Wow. That's definitely priced to sell!

Hi all,

I have some interesting Robotech items for sale. Not sure how to value them. I just don't have the space and hope they can go to a collector who will appreciate them. Always open to model kit/tool trades as well. What would be some fair prices?

Robotech stuff are the exception when determining values using eBay...for these items I would suggest to just browse "sold" auctions to get an idea of current value...

As you may already know, the Blu-Ray editions of these Dvds are out and thus will have a significant effect of their value...as for the other items, the "Matchbox" toy will probably have the highest potential market value of all the items you have listed....good luck!

Thanks @jvmacross I will do that. I'm just looking to pass this stuff along. I already have a different Robotech set as well as the Macross one, so it's just clean up time. It would nice to make a few bucks, but hoping to find someone who's really into this stuff. Anyone see anything the like?

Hi guys. I’m wanting to offload my HMR Max and Milia. Never opened.

EBay has them around £150-165

Manda seemingly around 12,000yen

Don’t see any on Jungle

what do you reckon is a fair price?

I'm starting to unpack my collection at my new place and came across these. If I haven't opened them yet, I doubt I ever will, so I'm going to sale them... but I have no idea what they're worth. Anyone know?

You need to find out what they go for on YJA to get a realistic estimate of value...

Ebay is most likely too high....Mandarake will be a distorted estimate (lower than actual market price most times), esentially Mandarake dictates their own prices based on what they are willing to pay for the 2nd hand items being purchased by them (which by default will always need to be less than market price in order for them to make a profit)...however, it will give you a quick and dirty estimate, if you purchased the items you are selling at MSRP or less, you should be fine and depending on the item, should make a profit on the sale...as with the market price derived from YJA, all you would need to do is add international shipping from Japan to the estimated price...

Go to the first post of this thread for a quick guide on how to figure out the YJA market prices for practically any Japanese collectible, including Macross items...do a search for something like "HMR VF-1J"...once you find a sample of the item you are searching....copy the Japanese auction listing's title for better results...such as for Max VF-1J or Milia VF-1J....Good Luck!

Hi everyone,

I've stepped away from the Macross game for a while and have made the decision to purge some stuff that's been sitting in boxes. Appreciate any feedback prices on the following:

  • Realistic prices for these items
  • Recommendation on best place to sell, here or eBay

Items:

  • Yamato 1/72 YF-19 v1.0 MISB
  • Yamato 1/60 VF-1A Canon fodder TRU v1.0 MISB
  • Yamato 1/60 VF-1A Hikaru v1.0 MISB
  • Yamato 1/60 VF-0S MIB
  • Yamato 1/100 VB-6 MIB

I'm curious what's the current interest/rate for a set of Super parts for a renewal Alto 25?  Since the originals are dark grey but the recent reissue is rather purple.  I figure some people may not like the color and want "the originals" now.

Last one sold at YJA back in May 21 was Y11499. Current bidding listing has prices between Y9931 and Y11000. Jungle has a sealed one for Y16100.

Hope that helps. :good:

So what's the current going rate for a  Bandai 1/72 Hikaru TV 1J HCM with box.   Appears to be in Good to Very Good condition.       I know these were up there a few years back,  just curious if these cooled off at all.

Seems like I am not the only one in this boat, so my expectations are relatively low.  I have been revising my Macross collection, and space is at a premium.  That means some of my older 1/48 and 1/60 (V1) Yammies gotsta geux.

Will likely be listing some or all of these here as time permits during the silly season.  Fair prices? Thanks!

Here is sales data for the last six months for Yamato 1/48 items....

https://auctions.yahoo.co.jp/closedsearch/closedsearch?p=やまと+マクロス+1%2F48&va=やまと+マクロス+1%2F48&b=1&n=60

You will see the low-average-high prices at the top of the page....

In general...the closer to MIB, the higher the value...

The weathered VF-1S Focker is the one fetching the highest prices currently...

As far as LOOSE values...in general...you can expect to receive 30% less than a boxed and complete item...if you then have loose item with missing or damaged of any kind (yellowing)...you can start subtracting 10% for each missing part or damage...

As always, YMMV and it all will ultimately depend on your customer's willingness to pay what you are asking...

I have no idea on i-men...probably look at past sales on ebay...

As for V1 Yamato VF-1's...they are the forgotten Macross toys...only die-hard completists will have any interest...it's definitely a buyer's market for those....MIB, they usually go for 100usd or less....loose would be much less...

Here is a link for the past 6 months of "1/60" sales...you will need to manually figure out the average for "V1" prices as the link just lumps all Yamato 1/60 VF-1's together....

https://auctions.yahoo.co.jp/closedsearch/closedsearch?p=やまと+マクロス+1%2F60&ei=UTF-8&exflg=&va=やまと+マクロス+1%2F60&b=1&n=60

One final note....make sure to add proxy and international shipping cost to your prices as that is what anyone trying to buy directly from Japan would have to also consider when buying straight from Japan...

It was listed as "unopened"...a pic shows the tape seal....additionally it was a full auction with 35 bidders...

These just don't sell for as much as they did in the past....

2 are currently collecting dust on Mandarake....both used
