Is $300 too much for a VF-0D? Depending on condition no. I paid $400 for a new in box one. Current Yahoo Japan auction sold prices are here.

However! Keep in mind that Arcadia is releasing a new "Premium Finish" version, and that the old version has some pretty severe leg issues in many copies.

Decide if you want to spend $300 on an old open one (if it's opened, verify with seller that the legs are good), or spend about $500 on the new version.

[edit] Nippon Yasan has a much lower price than HLJ for the VF-0D new version.

Hey guys. New collector here. How much would be the going price for a used Yamato 1/60 VF-0A with ghost booster in decent condition?  Thanks.

Not too much to go by recently....

Last one on YJA sold for close to 200USD....

One auction will end soon, so if it doesn't sell, then that should tell you that the demand is not that high, so 200 USD may be close to the max current value...

No recent sales data on eBay either

Thanks. That's actually the YJA i'm looking at and wasn't sure if worth the asking price.

Looks like the Yamato VF-0A bundle sold....was it you?  Either way, seems like 200-ish USD may be the new market value for it

Been a long time since Ive been part of Macross collecting.  Sold out the vast majority of my toys quite a few years back, but I found a box of some leftovers I had apparently forgotten about including a few Transformers and Macross goodies.  No idea what the current value of anything is anymore, so any advice is appreciated.

Bandai 1/55 re-issue Super Valk with box and all parts.  Transformed a few times, nothing broken.    Could only find one on Ebay, so that doesnt seem to be a great source of info on potential value

Thanks

These are the last few that have sold on YJA in the last 3 months or so....assuming it is this version...the 1990 version goes for about the same.....only the original Takatoku version seems to command a higher market price these days.....several "re-issues" have placed a limit on potential market value....

I would say $150 is a fair average once you consider anything that may be wrong with it and proxy/shipping fees to get one from Japan to your doorstep...

Good Luck!

What is a good price to purchase a Bandai DX VF-27 1st version? I would think the Brera would be less rare, but I have recently got a hankering for a VF-27 toy and don’t want to pay the inflated prices for a renewal version. I would prefer new, but like new, used is good too....just wondering what a good, reasonable price would be.

thank you,

Twich

About 100-150 USD once you factor in proxy fees and shipping to your door

Any thoughts on how much a 1985 Matchbox SDF-1 is worth? I have the box, which shows wear and tear and the 2 of the shoulder cannons have their ends broken off.

I see EBay has had some priced from 350-1000 but none of them sold.

Just look at closed auctions....deduct about 10-30% based on the description of your items condition

Just looking for an average price on Macross Frontier Renewal Valks and Armor sets.  I think I'm gonna post them for sale as they've just been in box for the past like 5 years.  I have the following

Alto VF-25F + Tornado Parts

Michel VF-25G + Super Parts

Luca RVF-25 + Super Parts

CF VF-25A + Super Parts

CF VF-171 + Super Parts

From my research, prices have moved up from release, but nothing obscene, with the CF VF-171 maybe selling for less then retail now.  Thanks!

I just sold a new one for 362.00 at Ebay. Free shipping, which was like 50 bucks, with insurance , and signature required. Sorry @sh9000 :cray:

The other two available form other sellers,  were over a thousand bucks and another for over 500 bucks. Prob not the best place to look for a valk.

My job slowed down a lot due to this covid19 situation, so I am letting go of some of my personal collection, and stuff i never got around opening at all, and a unicorn or two.

I also have the first editions VF-0A and VF-0S(no boosters). Those had issues right?

I have those two, and nothing has broken on them luckily. I have two other new ones, never opened. How do you sell these things? Explain in the description that these things will possibly? or likely break? I don't know what to ask for, and I am assuming they may break in the long run? Please help.

Also a 1st edition 1/60 Yamato YF-19 new in box, which I am sure, much like mine, will become a floppy mess.

Maybe sell the for cheap, with a disclaimer?

Maybe buy the part from shapeways and fix it before selling? Or just include the repair part?

I haven't had luck finding any recent sold prices on a Yamato VF-19P.  It's been forever since I attempted to sell stuff, and I got rusty on my google-fu.

It has definitely become more scare as the years have gone by.....

The last few sales on YJA were from May 2020

22,700 JPY this was for a loose one no box

30,550 JPY MIB brand new

Hope this helps

Thanks.  The few listed on eBay were around $600 on up.  Not sure how realistic those prices are.

You can "list" an item for whatever you want....only the history of "sold" prices will reveal what people are actually willing to pay for any given item and is the only data that will help you determine what your item may fetch on the open market...such as via an auction

With that said, YMMV.....it has been a while since a VF-19P has actually "sold" at auction....there are many factors that can determine "current" market price...lack of supply definitely being one of them....good luck!

What is a NEW "1/55 Origin of Valkyrie VF-1A Super Valkyrie (Hikaru Ichijyo version)" worth that is the exact same one as the product description and product image linked below.
For reference, I am looking to buy one as new.

What do you reckon a Yamato 1/60 VF-4G is worth, complete with all accessories and instructions, but no box?

missing boxes on average yield about 30% less than the current market price....

Here is one "loose" example that sold recently on YJA....

https://page.auctions.yahoo.co.jp/jp/auction/t743765589

and a "boxed" sample....

https://page.auctions.yahoo.co.jp/jp/auction/k459257400

Here is the link if you want to average out the market price within the last few months on "boxed" Yamato VF-4's....

https://auctions.yahoo.co.jp/closedsearch/closedsearch?va=やまと+1%2F60+VF-4G&b=1&n=100&auccat=&tab_ex=commerce&ei=utf-8&aq=-1&oq=&sc_i=&exflg=&p=やまと+1%2F60+VF-4G&x=47&y=19

...once you have the average figure a 30% deduction of that price for the missing box and then add international shipping and about 10-15 USD for domestic (Japanese) shipping fees and proxy fees and about 50-60 USD for international shipping .....it is ultimately what a collector is willing to pay for a "loose" valk.....most collectors will expect more than a 30% discount due to the missing box....It also does not help that Arcadia did a re-release of the VF-4G and that they will be releasing a FB2012 version soon.....good luck!

Hey all,

Just wondering, are these worth more opened or closed?16073711585347836381593983957980.thumb.jpg.1f495c0410b75ccd3fb73fbfa1512b7e.jpg

Usually, every collectible is worth more when it is closed/unused.....the only time this does not matter is when the collectible has lost so much of it's desirability that it's value in boxed condition is no longer a factor....your items are not in that category based on what I have seen them go for on auction

Thanks!  I had some concerns for these particular items because we don't really know what's in these particular boxes so I thought specific items might fetch more if they were identified.
