TangledThorns Posted February 27 Posted February 27 (edited) Gene was 95 years old but his wife and dog was found dead too. Carbon monoxide leak? Still, heckuva an actor. I'm gonna have to re-watch some of his older films from the 1970s. RIP Edited February 27 by TangledThorns

I’ve seen some wild things like food poisoning shared between family members and pets to potatoes poisoning the air. But most of the time it tends to be carbon monoxide. French connection still holds up
Thom Posted February 27 Posted February 27 Sad news indeed, esp in so shocking a way. RIP good sir, and Mrs. and doggo...
derex3592 Posted February 27 Posted February 27 Time to watch Superman and Unforgiven again. RIP sir! You were one of the greats!
Mog Posted February 27 Posted February 27 One of the most memorable character actors of our time. He generally played hard-asses. But he always tweaked them a little so it didn’t feel like he was doing the same character in each movie.

Valkyrie Hunter D Posted February 27 Posted February 27 For now, it sounds like a horrible accident. RIP to him and his family.
Hikuro Posted February 27 Posted February 27 Yeah that was really out of no where, sorta. I mean he was 95, it was gonna happen sooner or later, but the means is what sucks. Very curious on what the results will be. He will be very missed.
Hikuro Posted February 28 Posted February 28 Santa Fe PD are now ruling their deaths as suspicious. Gas company found no evidence or problems of a gas leak, their front door was ajar, with 2 of their 3 dogs found alive and healthy. man, that is just sad.

The last I saw about an hour ago is kinda walking back the “suspicious” part of the earlier comments saying that there’s no apparent sign of foul play, but still investigating the circumstances and not ruling anything out at the moment at least not till the investigation is done. i think it will be a few days or weeks before we get a definitive answer to what might have happened. Until then there’s gonna be a lot of wild speculation going on

Bobby Posted Monday at 04:48 PM Posted Monday at 04:48 PM This clip and the RIP threads is a sobering reminder of: Life is hard. It's not about you. You're going to die.

Death is inevitable at this point, but the important thing is how your live your life. Not all of us will be immortalized in celluloid dreams, so we owe it to ourselves to live life to the fullest and try our best to leave this world with a bit of hope for the next generation.

Not a bad tribute by them, some of these names I completely forgot have passed. But I do think we're all apart of a generation where the people we grew up watching are now dropping out of existence. I think when Arnold is gone, I'll probably have to take a week off.

I was supposed to be dead 9 years ago, but a promise kept me alive until now. Now, all I care about is meeting them again in the next life. Forgive my apathy on the subject, but the feeling of emptiness is still strong. But as Renato once sang: We did the right thing without meaning to It was only time that made a mistake It will be difficult for me without you Because you are with me all the time And when I see the sea There is something that says That life goes on and giving up is nonsense Since you are not here What can I do Is take care of myself I want to be happy at least Remember that the plan was for us to be well Living one day at a time, with a smile and memories of them.
