Jasonc Posted January 17 Posted January 17 If I am able to get one, I definitely will. I'd love to work on it, and possibly even use it to work on a larger version with new mechanics. This one looks great, but there seems to be a bit of gap issues. That said, I love it. Quote

Chronocidal Posted January 18 Posted January 18 Yeah, sadly everything they make remains one of those event exclusives that disappear as soon as they appear. Decent inspiration to try and build something yourself, but the licenses they purchase for these mean they're never seen again. I wish they'd just ditch the event exclusives and sell the designs online to print them yourselves. Would make them a lot easier for more people to enjoy. Quote
djivaldi7 Posted January 18 Posted January 18 Does anyone know any trusted proxies going there we could prepay and tip? Quote

This sounds both complicated and low probability of success... I see now why few ever get hands on these regardless of how much money old guys like me throw at it. Quote
jenius Posted January 19 Posted January 19 I've seen videos of wonder fest opening and it's no joke. I met a Japanese friend at SDCC and I was laughing at how people rushed to get in line and he surprised me by showing me the video and saying Japanese fans have no worries about even trying to look composed as they run to get what they want. It must be very tough for proxies. Quote

djivaldi7 Posted January 20 Posted January 20 Total left turn here, but Vertex Nebula at Patreon just announced his own Variable Glaug. Not sure whether that's 3 separate mode 3D prints or 1 unit truly variable? Quote
Valkyrie Posted January 29 Posted January 29 Vertex Nebula does some incredible work! But all of his are single mode models. Quote
djivaldi7 Posted February 9 Posted February 9 Sold out almost instantly. My proxy guy didn't get there in time. Says the Experten rep apologized and said they will consider a 2nd run for summer. Quote

Make sure to find as many four leaf clovers and possible and preserve them. Quote
