Marso Posted February 5, 2004 Posted February 5, 2004 Can someone give me a basic plot synopsis of the Macross 7 series? I've watched the original SDF Macross and loved it, same for Macross Plus, both the movie and OVA versions. I've got DYRL on order but haven't seen it yet. I understand that the 'canon' view is that DYRL is a 'movie within a movie' remembering the events of SDF Macross. (I've seen Zero 1-3 as well) I've heard bits and snatches about 7, but I'm curious as to what people thought about it. Was it a good series or not? Everyone seems to agree that Macross 2 stunk, and that it's considered an alternative universe or something like that. So what's the scoop on 7? Edumacate me.
