SHOJI KAWAMORI: The Anime Engineer at Lucca Comics and Games in Italy [Oct 30 to Nov 3, 2024]

For the first time in Italy, Kawamori-sensei is a guest at Lucca Comics & Games from October 30th to November 3rd, in collaboration with Cosmicgroup and Dynit, and is currently the protagonist of autograph sessions, meetings and workshops.

Shoji Kawamori, famous anime director and author, as well as Japanese mecha designer is present as a guest at Lucca Comics and Games 2024.

I live in Italy, around 200km from Lucca, a convention which i attended many times throughout  the last three decades(first time in 1992). I was so excited to know that Kawamori was going to be a guest this year! I just couldn't believe it. Too bad i spent the last two weeks at home with two broken ribs and so full of things to do for my job and so behind schedule for my next exam at the university. I know i am going to regret not being able to go to Lucca this year for my entire life. In any case one of my friends was able to attend and sent me these two pics. He said Kawamori was really chatty and very nice and gentle toward all the fans. Happy for him but my heart is broken right now.
