Simone
Hi everibody, I have an old kit, I bought in 95 or 96, i didn't remember. Unfortunately I have lost the assembly instructions over the years. Iwould like to start adding now that i am rewatching the anime with my children. Does anyone have this kit with the instructions still? If so, could you kindly send me a pair? the photos of the pages are enough. Thank you! I built a lot of those back in the 80’s, but my mom being a mom of the 80’s tended to throw out boxes and instructions and such. I get the feeling that mom’s of that time period saw their kids get things like these and immediately started planning a day to throw out the boxes and instructions and may even have planned to have the cat accidentally break the models themselves, so there was even more stuff to get rid of. And now they cry and moan when they find out a lot of what they threw out was worth $$$$.

Nah, they don’t care about the money. It was all about the obsession with throwing things out. It could’ve been a million dollar item, but the experience of tossing it in the trash was worth billions

I'm not sure if this is the same kit - the box art are different, but it's still the Arii kit (re-released by Bandai), still 1/100, etc. https://1999.co.jp/image/10189110

Big s
I found these that are supposedly for the standard 1S on a google search, but I only spent a few minutes, maybe try checking and see if there’s anything there or on a YouTube search Edited 18 hours ago by Big s

Eh...I guess back in those days, they were only happy when the entire house was empty and everyone slept on a wood floor.
kajnrig
That makes sense, I keep forgetting the name Imai. Thanks for the correction.

Yeah, they almost seem a bit similar and they both were in operation around the same time and both are long gone companies. It gets more confusing for those that grew up with Robotech since both did Macross and Imai did Mospeada and Arii did Southern cross. Bandai purchased a bunch of molds From Imai, but I don’t think they got anything from Arii. I could be mistaken, though I’m pretty sure all their rereleases were from Imai kits.
