You're going to order it no matter what. That's how Bandai know us. We're going to get it. There's not enough Kairos in the world at this point. Quote

The way merchandise gets pushed based on character popularity is completely at odds with a series like this where every minor schmuck gets their own paint scheme. We need to go back to brownie units. aurance Posted September 10, 2024 Posted September 10, 2024 I actually like this color better than Keith's, but not enough to double dip on the -262. Quote

Chronocidal Posted September 11, 2024 Posted September 11, 2024 (edited) Oh, I was thinking of all of the copy-pasted knights that got next to no development or even dialogue. We had Keith and Ketchup, then there were creepy twins, the actual cannon fodder character who died early on, and the two vets, and I can't remember the names of any of those. I want to say the two older guys were treated better, but I barely remember anything they did. Edited September 11, 2024 by Chronocidal Quote

Aside from Roid, Keith, and Bogue, the names of the rest of the aerial knights also escape my memory after all this time, Whereas I still can remember the names of the delta squadron and Walkure members. I feel they added so very little to both the series and the movies. Quote

I think one reason it is easier to remember the names of the Delta squad members is because they had unique valks associated with each of them. Whereas for the Aerial Knights, only a few of them had unique valks and those are the ones we remember. The twins and the others all had the same variant so instead of associating their names with the valk, we ended up doing the opposite and associate the valk's variant (Ba) with them instead lol. rsvictor1976 Posted February 15 Posted February 15 I was watching Kazuya Sasahara's live stream for this toy and I couldn't believe how long it took him to fiddle around with trying to convert it to Gerwalk mode. Quote
WhatBoutMyStar Posted February 15 Posted February 15 I guess I'm so used to Transformers transformations and in particular third party Transformers. While the 262 is certainly among the most involved transformations for a Macross valkyrie, it's a breeze for me compared to like 90% of 3P Transformers. Having transformed Fans Toys Ultra Magnus back and forth pretty recently, transforming a 262 in comparison is a joy. Quote
PointBlankSniper Posted February 16 Posted February 16 Been wondering what happened to this one, since nobody here seems to care much about it or ordered any lol. Colors look better than the promos IMO. The clear parts look kind of murkier than usual though. Hope thats not a sign of quality change. Quote
Lolicon Posted February 16 Posted February 16 Another release that I (as well as many others it seems) completely forgot about. Had to rummage through my old emails because I honestly couldn't remember if I ordered one (I did). Quote
Chronocidal Posted February 17 Posted February 17 I knew I did for basically two reasons. Mainly I love the color combination, but also I'm hoping against hope that pouring more funds into anything Sv-262-related will convince Bandai to make the Ba variants. Quote
twich Posted February 17 Posted February 17 I am liking the colors of this, it is a very unique color scheme outside the norm for Valkyries! Twich Quote
Graham Posted February 17 Posted February 17 I've got one of these on pre-order. I like the red and gold scheme and I've always liked the look of the Sv-262Hs in fighter mode. Although, I really wish Bandai would release the Sv-262Ba as well. I was actually playing around with my DX Keith Sv-262Hs yesterday, as I've been re-watching Delta on D+ recently and also playing a lot Delta Scramble on Vita recently. The toy is holding up well. It's just a pity that Bandai are not including the 4 x missile packs with the Bogue Sv-262Hs, as I think we never see the Sv-262 without them in the show and movies. Quote

I figured since Alto 25F has been combined with supers and Ozma with armor since p-bandai exclusive attachments have not been offered since the WWM releases i figured if they are going to offer the ghosts again in a combined package for US/International customers. I wonder if the ghost will ever be released again in another package. Quote

But, I'm not holding my breath. Quote
MKT Posted February 18 Author Posted February 18 My Keith 262Hs right shoulder's a bit loose now, but it has been in Battroid mode for years holding up that big gun in my display. Other joints appear fine though. Look forward to receiving Boque's Hs, at least we now have another variation of this 262 in Chogokin. Come one Bandai, please announce the Ba next. Quote
davidwhangchoi Posted February 20 Posted February 20 i need some more ghosts for an extra Messer movie edition i brought a while back. I hope there's a release with a ghost at somepoint. Quote

I wish they made the color schemes match the host fighter, especially since they explained the Draken could change color schemes on the spot, and that it was a matter of IFF. I don't get why the drones wouldn't need the IFF signal change as well. It's a brain dead way to move more merchandize of the same mold as well. Maybe they could do a little retcon again someday lol. Graham Posted Tuesday at 01:35 AM Posted Tuesday at 01:35 AM It's out. I just got a message from the shop I ordered from to come pick it up. Quote
Tallman Posted Wednesday at 01:11 AM Posted Wednesday at 01:11 AM SV262 is the most difficult transformation that I have ever encounter. Geeezzz. hope they could make it more easier. But at last I made the Gerwalk mode after few hours. Quote
Shawn Posted Wednesday at 01:40 AM Posted Wednesday at 01:40 AM I completely agree with you on the complexity. I bought the original one (used cheap) and went in blind to the process...never seen Delta, no Anymoon videos. Just had the box to look at. It was a personal challenge that took hours to complete! Quote
Graham Posted Wednesday at 02:16 AM Posted Wednesday at 02:16 AM At least the instruction manual now has English instructions. Mine is still staying in fighter mode though. 😅 Quote
davidwhangchoi Posted Wednesday at 04:19 AM Posted Wednesday at 04:19 AM Makes sense... this is why Aerial Knight 90% of the time never transformed. Barely saw it in battroid the entire series. Quote
ArchieNov Posted Wednesday at 07:18 AM Posted Wednesday at 07:18 AM Personally, I loved the transformation. It was something new and fresh. Transforming the VF-1 and similar designs is boring already. The only thing that really makes the sv-262 transformation challenging for me is making sure I don't accidentally scratch any of the paint, especially the gold trims. Quote
ArchieNov Posted yesterday at 03:44 AM Posted yesterday at 03:44 AM (edited) For those of you who already have this on hand, are the heel/ankle covers on your feet just floating pieces? Mine keeps sliding around and it makes a rattling noise when I shake it especially in fighter. On my Keith, these parts seem to be fixed in place. So I'm not sure if this was a design change or they just forgot to glue it on my copy. There also seems to be a bigger gap between the thrusters and fuselage on the Bogue. I don't think they've added an extension gimmick to the ankles because I can't seem to push them in. But if I could, that would prevent the heel covers from sliding around. Edited yesterday at 05:50 AM by ArchieNov Quote
Graham Posted yesterday at 04:01 AM Posted yesterday at 04:01 AM I did also notice the bigger gap in fighter on my Bogue between the thrusters and the fuselage. But I haven't encountered any rattling or movement of the heel/ankle covers. But I'll check again when I get home tonight. Quote
ArchieNov Posted yesterday at 08:14 AM Posted yesterday at 08:14 AM Okay I did a closer comparison between my Keith and Bogue. You can see the ankle section jutting out from under the flaps on the Bogue below. On the Keith, these are completely hidden under the flaps. Then checking the manual for Bogue, it shows that they're supposed to be hidden as well. And these next 2 pictures show how the extended length allows for the heel/ankle cover to shift around loosely. On the Keith, since the ankle is shorter, there's no room for this part to move around and it sits flush against the round ankle joint. Quote
