Vaeran Posted February 3, 2004 Posted February 3, 2004 Apologies if this is a stupid question, since I know very little about Macross. But I tried the Scrambled Valkyrie shooter for SNES (fun game, odd title notwithstanding). What really impressed me about the game, though, was the music. Does anyone know if it was adapted from the anime, or are they original compositions for the game? In particular, the title and character select BGMs -- if these are from the series, I'd really appreciate it if someone could tell me the track names and on what albums they can be found. Thanks! 13strikevalkyrie13 Posted February 4, 2004 Posted February 4, 2004 well im positive the theme for the game is one of many themes in macross but pretty much the main one you hear at the intro of the show and dyrl for the other tracks i think they are original for the game hope that helps Quote
TheLoneWolf Posted February 5, 2004 Posted February 5, 2004 With the exception of the opening them song and Minmay's DYRL in the final stage, all the music in the game is 100% original. I have to agree, Scrambled Valk has some of the nicest vidgame music out there. Quote

SNES sound emulation has gotten MASSIVELY better since '98. SNESAmp is a much better choice for accuracy. Quote
majortom Posted February 6, 2004 Posted February 6, 2004 Wow, I downloaded the latest SNES amp and the difference is like night and day... Quote
