I haven’t bought anything from LunaPark before but I see the mix reviews on here. I’m jealous you only had to pay 5000 yen shipping.

Speaking of shipping, I forgot to ask them what shipping methods and courier that they are using. I was too happy to see 5000 yen shipping and immediately placed the order.

@Test_Pilot_2 and @Angesdad So shipping issues aside, how was your new Ozma? Any issues with loose joints?

Mine seems solid so far. I'm sure I've been Bandai'd somewhere so we'll see.

Just got it transformed and added all the armor... I did think the hips were super tight, but here at the end the thing is standing on its own holding its weight so I'm ok with the tight joints.

Everything seems ok, anything off is likely my fault. Thing looks bad ass.

Got my shipping notice from LP on Wednesday and fedex delivered it today (Utah) in pristine condition. I placed the order on release day so it was a little slow getting out the door but overall I’m pleased with the experience.

There shouldn't be loose-joints issue the first three or four transformations and should be quite tight out of the box.

fwiw, I didn't get this Ozma-Revival but for comparison, my Revival-Alto got loose at the hip-joints after only just two transformations or so.

Hopefully this Ozma-Revival does not do that to you guys who purchased it...

Mine arrived today. So just some info on the weight.

The toy with the Tamashii brown box weighs in at 1892g.

Without the Tamashii brown box, it is at 1676g. As side note, after using plastic wrapper for the VF-1D within the brown box, Bandai opted to use tissue wrapping this time.

I ordered from a non-conventional source from Hong Kong this time (I'm also based in SEA). The brown Tamashii was wrapped in a layer of bubble wrap, and went into a shipping box just a smidge larger than it. Shipping box stock was of a thin variety, but crucially all corners were protected by the black plastic corner protectors which folks who get stuff from KC will be familiar with. Due to the smaller & lighter than expected shipping box plus protective packaging, the whole weight came to 2349g.

This sounds a lot more reasonable, and closes the gap to what YYK quotes with, so it's kind of hard to complain. Still kind of sad that it's a fraction lighter than when I got the YF-21 with a master grade kit, yet the prices are still the same for most couriers.

I wonder if they could just take out a piece of brown paper to lose 101g and get into sub 2500g shipping prices lol

Can recommend your HK source?

I got my Ozma Revival today. I can't believe how sturdy and tight the joints were. The packaging from Yoyakunow was decent. It was wrapped in a single layer of bubble wrap and about an inch of heavy paper all around.

Just received my Ozma today via FedEx from LP KK. I’m happy it came before Christmas!

Glad that the box is intact. They used a custom size to box up with bubble wrapped.

Is this from the regular Luna Park store or the premium one? They really need to ditch one of those stores and just maintain one that offers different shipping options. Better yet, just make it all "premium" shipping. I really don't know what the difference between the two looks like.

I ordered from regular store. The premium store charged a few thousands more on shipping.

Yay mine is headed for slow boat for 3700 yen. At least that costs exactly as expected from YYK.

I was really impressed with the UPS Worldwide Express shipping. It was as fast as the DHL Express shipping option they normally use but at 2/3 the cost.

Got my Ozma just before Christmas, but didn't have a chance to get him out until now. I also have ridiculously tight hips and the left ankle lock being a bit soft that others have reported.

He joins some other armored boys.

So what's the verdict for those that have both? Is it better than the Renewal? Is there any notable differences between Renewal and Revival?

Without digging out my original release, I can't do a proper comparison of the little details, but I just (finally) opened my first Ozma set, and it looks like one of the more solid VF-25s I have, from any release, renewal or revival.  No issues with the nosecone lining up, and the nose gear doors are a perfect fit on this one, which is a nice change from the past couple of issues I've had (my Max YF-29 and Alto combo re-release both had pretty sloppy nose gear doors, and issues with hinge alignments).

Did have one assembly foible on the right thigh where someone just didn't tighten a screw enough to get the leg halves together, leaving a big gap, but fortunately, unlike many other Bandai releases, the screw cover was easily accessible, and only held on by a small dab of glue, so it was easy to pop off and tighten that screw up.

I won't say it's perfect though, and I think the issues Bandai has been having with drilling accurate hinge pin holes are persisting.  They don't stop anything from working this time, but both of my tail hinges don't look quite lined up.  They're not crooked at least, but the tails don't look like they're seated in the sockets properly, so they feel like they aren't raising enough, and the base of the tail sticks up from the fairing a little.  Nothing terrible though, they stay in place fine, and don't look obviously misaligned.

I just picked up a 3rd Revival VF-25S Ozma and happy to report it's fine with no obvious issues (just like my first two.)

Displaying the first in Armored Fighter mode, the second in Armored Battroid mode and the third in bare fighter mode.

Can we get pictures of your collection? I'm sure you have a bunch of rare toys.

Why not Armored Gerwalk? Personally I'm not the biggest fan of Gerwalk, but IMO it's in Gerwalk mode where these armored valks shine the most. They look great when angled upwards (you'll have to attach the stand backwards) and with all weapon bays opened like it's firing all of its ordnance. It's the reason I have my Arad Armored VF-31 displayed in Gerwalk mode as well.

Im holding out for one to arrive on Mandarake. I never actually go the heavy armor for the original 25S (It always priced me out) so Im quite looking forward to this. Good to hear the joints are tighter; hopefully they do the same on the 27.

In general I've just never been a big fan of displaying my toys in Gerwalk mode.

I understand and appreciate the in-universe rationale for Gerwalk mode, but visually it's just not my favorite look.

I'm more of a fighter mode guy and I'd say in general, roughly 60 percent or more of my VF toys are displayed in Fighter mode, 30% displayed in Battroid mode and only about 10% (or less) are displayed in Gerwalk Mode.

Thinking about it, the only toys I've currently got displayed in Gerwalk mode are a DX YF-21, an HMR VF-2SS without SAP, the blue HMR VF-0S, an HMR VF-19 Kai, a DX VF-31AX Bogue and maybe 1 or 2 HMR VF-1 toys.

I live in a tiny (by Western standards) Hong Kong apartment and my display cabinets and shelves are very crowded and don't look that great. A lot of my stuff is in boxes and gets rotated into display periodically. 😅

I like the figure, but holy hell, the sprue marks on the armored parts are a level of terrible I haven't seen in a long time.
