Stampeed Valkyrie Posted February 3, 2004 Posted February 3, 2004 Just recently downloaded Macross zero vol 3 and when I goto play it, I get an audio codec error. Video is fine and it plays I just don't get any sound. I personally have never run into this problem before and I have yet to really hunt for a solution. I probably will once I get out of work. Anyone else run into something similar at one point? And on a related note any good 3rd party Media players similar to Windows Media Player that are pretty decent? Sorry if wrong forum just curious. JValk Posted February 3, 2004 Posted February 3, 2004 use the anbu-animeone sub (not the dvd rip if you dont have a dvd player of course), and use - um, i forgot the name of my player (i'm not at my home comp) but i'm sure someone here has a suggestion! Quote
Roy's Blues Posted February 3, 2004 Posted February 3, 2004 The BS media player will play everything. It has all the codecx within the player itself. You may want to DL G-Spot as well. It is a codec identifier. Quote
Bob_Coffee Posted February 4, 2004 Posted February 4, 2004 Your problem is you dont have Ac3(dolby digital) playback codec installed on your computer, the easiest way to fix that is to go to www.doom9.org and download the gordian knot codec pack. and install everything in that pack except for dvix5.1.1 pro(the version inside the codec pack is the free, spyware supported version). and that should solve 90% of your playback problems period with anything.
