Took a chance and picked up a case of these watches,  only had a chance to really handle one at this point so I will update with additional photos as I get a chance.

I figured this might be a blind box item,  but I was pleasantly surprised that they show you what version your getting before you open the box.  With 6 versions in this set in total,  with an additional 2 more that I think were exclusives to certain retailers.

Are these Robotech branded or ??

I don't see a BW sticker or any manufacturer name.
How do you know which watch is in each box? Is it like the old Pencil Sharpeners, where you never know what you get?

I think they look pretty cool

Manufacturer is Infantry,  did abit of googling and they make a wide variety of watches,  with some fairly expensive ones.

Quartz movement,  which is fairly obvious at this price point, Chronometer, Date and 30 Meter Water resistant.

Overall for the price point,  I think these are very nice,  paid much more for other non themed watches and got lesser product.    My only real gripe is the band,  which are nylon and IMO almost appear as an afterthought.     Easily enough fixed by replacement aftermarket bands.

I do have a few Banpresto stainless watches from back in the early 2000s,  these appear to be of much higher quality overall.

Several stores were selling these at one point,  Crunchyroll, Kidslogic... etc.    My boxes don't have any specific branding on them looks like it might be an HG thing when I looked on Kids logic website.

You can see what watch your getting as its printed on the outside of the box.

Also worth noting is these are the Version 1s   there is a Version 2 series which are slightly different.

I like the grey one....so you get 1 full set per case or 2?

Link?

The case I ordered consisted of 12 watches,  there was another set of 9 watches that had an additional 3 watches as you linked to.    The problem is everywhere is sold out so I don't have a link.  I have a contact who is a wholesale importer,   my case had a full set and random extras,  all watches are sealed and you can see what your getting by the picture on the box,  as I stated above.

Is there like a guide for how one would use the 2 rows of numbers on the circumference of the watch? The spacing/limits(90) are weird
Are they useful or just design elements?

I am willing to bet design elements, maybe a watch expert can chime in.

@jvmacross found a HK vendor listed on the box..  https://kigomi.com/products/超时空要塞

Were you planning to keep all of them or sell any duplicates?  I'd be interested in the grey one

I am listing the duplicates in the sale section,   I will post a link once I do so.

Grey one went fast,  I have this cross posted other places.    All proceeds goto me getting a set of the V2 watches..  😁

Sale thread..

So I just got my case of V2s in.    I need to open them up and check them out,  but here is what I have so far.    Looks like 6 in this set as well,  watch face does not appear as "busy" as the V1s.

Case.jpg.b0e48b645cd794bcd1ab6a1869ba02ff.jpg

Case art is a darker theme then the V1s..  shows Ver 2.0 and states.. 12 Designs.. I only see 6.

Box art rear and right side.

Darker theme'd all watches sealed with a holographic sticker.. like the V1s

V2Collection.jpg.c655bc33254a20d40a4e9673ce8ef96d.jpg

6 Watches in this collection.

As with the V1s you can see what your getting before you open it.    Max and Millia are the "rares" with only 1 of each in my case.

So some close ups of the V2s..    The cases are definately abit more plain jane then the V1s.   The gimmick is the UN Spacy Roundel spins around during chronograph mode.   Kinda neat.

Watch bands on the V2 are "leather" with color appropriate stitching.. IMO better then the V1

Back of watch is stainless.. this time they added Robotech to it.. 😒

The yellow stitching on the black watches really makes it pop IMO.

The watch faces look too busy...and the color matched bands make them look like they are more for kids...not that any kid would be itching for a "robotech" watch these days...lol

The V2s are more of a casual watch, vs the V1 and the sport style watch.    Each has its strengths and some drawbacks,  and pretty good overall for the pricepoint.

agreed, not much of a watch collector though...haven't worn a watch since probably the cell phone became a thing....but I'd definitely get something like these kidlogic watches rather than the over-priced seiko ones that hardly even look like they have anything to do with Macross
