TangledThorns Posted February 1 Posted February 1 (edited) Positive sign that this new movie will be titled BEETLEJUICE BEETLEJUICE and hopefully enough for a third film titled... BEETLEJUICE BEETLEJUICE BEETLEJUICE! Hopeful all these decades of development hell pays off. Edited February 1 by TangledThorns Quote
Thom Posted February 1 Posted February 1 In the waiting room for 36 years..? Yeah, that sounds right. Quote

mechaninac Posted March 21 Posted March 21 Beetlejuice-Adam's Family cross over?... I know it isn't but seeing Wednesday (Jenna Ortega) in the group image immediately brought it to mind. Heck, both occupy pretty much the exact same genre and would mesh well with each other. Quote

That would be awesome if she actually was playing Wednesday! It's (almost) showtime! Quote
mikeszekely Posted March 21 Posted March 21 I'm looking forward to this. I really liked the Beetlejuice cartoon as a kid, so I tried watching the movie and I just thought it was weird at the time. However, a few years back I recently decided to watch it with my wife as an adult and loved everything about it- the dark comedy, Keaton's brilliant performance, the slick visuals, and the sheer originality. It's a cliche to say that they don't make movies like that anymore, but that was really was my first thought after finishing it. Quote

I loved the movie when it first came out, and the cartoon seemed very odd Quote
Duke Togo Posted March 21 Posted March 21 They're not joking about that being a teaser. Barely a hint of things. Quote

TangledThorns Posted March 22 Posted March 22 Welp, its a teaser alright! Curious to see more tho! Quote
Big s Posted March 22 Posted March 22 Honestly, I don’t think I need more than the teaser on this one. Seems self explanatory. Kid grew up and had a little one that accidentally set loose a spook that had been sealed away Quote
TangledThorns Posted March 22 Posted March 22 Rewatching some scenes of the original film on Youtube. I totally forgot it was rated PG, lol. Quote

Clash of the Titans was only pg. and that had nudity and beheadings and amputations and all kinds of violence. Then again Robocop was almost X rated. The whole rating thing was a bit of a mix back in the old days Quote
Spark-O-Matic Posted March 23 Posted March 23 Did anyone else have a crush on her back in the day? looking forward to seeing this one. Quote

Not so much during her crazy shop lifting days tho, lol. On a side note my young son had a crush on Jenna Ortega from her Wednesday Addams meme Youtube videos, lol. Quote

I was a bit to young for crushes when Beetlejuice came out. I think my first movie crush was... Tia Carrera in Wayne's World. Quote

TangledThorns Posted March 28 Posted March 28 Thinking back on its kinda weird that Michael Keaton kinda stopped fun comedic characters after BEETLEJUICE. Maybe we'll get a sequel to Mr. Mom and it'll be called Mr. Grandmom? lol Quote
David Hingtgen Posted March 29 Posted March 29 I was legit just thinking about a Mr Mom sequel. First Batman, then Beetlejuice---I think Mr Mom is Keaton's next great role to reprise. Quote
