It probably would be better than Daft Punk. Although I kinda forgot that Nine inch Nails were still a band. Trent Reznor has done some great stuff soundtrack wise and would definitely bring more variety to the soundtrack

which I've never watched, probably will never either. I'm not really into Pixar films, I've maybe watched 20% of their catalogue of films. Off the top of my head, Toy Story, Toy Story 3, Wall-E, Incredibles 1 & 2, think that might be it.

Always looking forward to more TRON content. NIN should be cool. I loved the Daft Punk sounds. There's some great Daft Punk legacy video mixes on utube . As they're no longer together, i'm not surprised we'll be hearing something different.

Apparently Disney pissed off Bruce Boxleitner when the sequel to Legacy was cancelled last minute before production.

Disney also cancelled Tron Uprising too early imho.

I love Tron but I'm not feeling it with this teaser like I did with Legacy's teaser. I am curious about NIN's soundtrack though!

Luckily for Disney nobody really remember BB when they hear Tron.  They remember the unique visual FX.

 

This movie is looking like it is worth a trip to the theater.  It seems going from the Digital World to the real world allows keeping the powers from the digital world - though that didn't work for the humans that went digital and came back.

I'm actually thinking of seeing this on the big screen..I like the music, so far and the visuals are great! Clearly this is the peak result of Legacy's ending. I'm really curious to see what stories the comics have been telling prior to this. I've pretty much dropped the ball on that medium.  And i'm assuming there's going to be more comic stories following up to this. 
Also , i wouldn't put it past Disney to digitally cameo Tron or at the very least hint at his story. He could be the returning savior in the sequel to this movie.

It looks good so far. We see Sam in there for a moment, so I hope we end up seeing Qura as well - and that neither are killed off in the first ten minutes, Or hour. Or two... If they do, I will walk out. As to apparently there being no Tron, I wonder if Leto is a reboot of the character? At the end of Legacy, he's last seen drifting in the water, so I am wondering if an AI version of Flynn found and rebooted him.

As to grid powers, I wonder if they have to be innate rather than imbued? Or if that real-world question will even matter..?

And I really hope they don;t rely on 'other media' to fill in gaps. I don't do comics,and if they can't reference it in the movie they shouldn't touch it.

Garret Hedlund has been in Taylor Sheridan's series Tulsa King and Bass Reeves on Paramount+ and he looks completely different. Age is a mf'er, ugh.

Still, he should be in this movie but it seems they written him and Olivia Wilde's characters out ☹️

I love Tron and kinda liked the sequel, but I kinda don’t really care about this one yet. The idea of a guy stuck in a game was cool and really new back in the day, but has grown to become way overused, especially in anime. And the reverse kinda feels like a plot from old Saturday morning cartoons in that episode that was more of a filler than anything else

All those films aren't big sci-fi nor comic book franchises. Jared Leto is a great actor but somehow he has a poor track record with mainstream action/sci-fi films. Probably not his fault and he seems to keep trying so props for effort I guess, lol.
