No, you need to detach the sound booster during transformation. The prongs that go into the back in battroid (which are really terrible by the way and don't provide a really secure connection) are actually on top of the sound booster in fighter mode. There is also an adapter you need to use for fighter mode on the Yamato/Arcadia that you need to take off for battroid. Quote

If they do a DX VF-19 like they teased, I sure hope they put more thought into how the two will connect but after the DX YF-21, I have my doubts. Quote

They will sell the Valk with connectors to your liking, and pretend they will release a sound booster designed to fit on it one day. That day may or may not come, like the 21's fold booster, and all the AXs' super packs, or Chuck's anything. Quote
