I gotta say, proportions on this guy look really fun on a second look. He's way chunkier in Battroid mode than I'd expect from a VF-19, and fighter doesn't look too compromised.

On the plus side.. Bandai colored the backs of the hands properly.

Ha ha ha!!! So true. They also seem to have found a cleverer way to attach the the gun to the fighter and the fighter to the stand. 

Seriously, I really wonder what's the deal between Bandai and Arcadia.

Items are still 'Display Only' so they're not definite releases.  The 30th Anniversary of Macross 7 is next year and the stand adapter and stand are more developed on the VF-19 Fire Valkyrie so this one will more than likely be released.

A VF-11C announcement would have been a lot nicer. Then we could hope for an 11B and an 11MAXL. As it is, we'll definitely get the 19Kai and probably a 19S, maybe a 19F... the other two are just funzy display pieces for this show,;they're no where far enough along to expect a release next year for the anniversary.

That's a lot of different 19Kai's planned, from HG right down to Tiny sessions... They're obviously going to ride it with some special anniversary blue ray.

So yeahh.. agreeing with sentiment that the other 2 sound force VFs will look terrible in Fighter based on those sculpts. Wonder if Bandai is just showing them to pump up hype for the VF-19 Kai for more people to buy it in hopes for the other 2 to be released, and then make them quietly disappear from future events.

The sculpts though, would work better if they make the HG Shortcut Change kit version?

Would not be at all surprised if those are prototypes for 1/100 HG kits that they just displayed with the HMR Fire Valk to gauge hype for the designs, and decide whether considering an HMR version would even be worth the effort.

That would be a pretty egregious bait-and-switch, but also something I would entirely expect them to do.

Nothing wrong with it as a tactic, but certainly don't see the other two (especially the green one) selling like hot pancakes if they get an HMR international release. Only completists would budge for them.

Those 2 as HG makes more sense.

I'd bet the Fire Valkyrie will come in the form of the DX.

And the rest of the fire bomber in the HG line since there is a Fire Valk on its way.

I don't see how bandai could pull out a transforming VF-11 MAXL with the proportion and shapes it has.

I have no doubt that that will be coming. I kinda got a feeling that since currently they did a release of the YF- 19 in dx recently and a hmr of the vf-19 that that hmr will be sometime soon. But I think it’s possible not too far from now that they could do a swap and after the hmr, is when they might start teasing the VF-19 as dx and the YF-19 for hmr and a hopeful YF-21 hmr to cash in on the macross 7 and plus madness going around

Not 1/48, a DX would be 1/60. They displayed it before but maybe that was a 3d print job. This HMR looks easy to go but that doesn't always mean something for Bandai.

I’m hoping that Bandai gets to the 11 either as hmr or a hg kit. I’d love the armor pack as well

Since Macross Plus and Macross 7 releases have already started with the HG kit line, VF-11B and VF-11C releases have a better chance of coming out.  I would still prefer HMR but at least as a consolation the HG Valks will still look ok in Fighter mode next to HMR.

Now it will be just matter of knowing what else comes to the Hi Metal from M7.

Which we’ve only seen it as a prototype for Yamato’s 1/60. Who knows for HMR, maybe a paper craft version like DX VT-1’s tent will be included?
