Shipping paid for the HMR VF-0D with some other Macross toys at AE.  It's going to be a nice Macross package coming in.  My other 2 should be coming on Friday.

AE via DHL says it should be on my doorstep on 8/24! :o

My shipping options from AE only had EMS or small packet airmail, how do I get them to use DHL?

No shipping option for me at AE.  They just chose DHL when I clicked on ship my items.  It ended up cheap though.

Am I the only one who bought domestic?

No, you're not alone, bud.  I went the same rout through Eknight Media, myself... I'm in no hurry and can wait to eventually get my one copy.

Honestly, getting it in hand, the VF-0D is gorgeous. That said, it is also one of the most frustrating Macross toys I've owned in terms of trying to get everything to tab in/not fall off in fighter mode.

Makes me want to seek out the Arcadia release, if only it wasn't so expensive. 😬

Exactly feel your pain on both points. That said, after a couple of transformations, it does get easier...

doesn't look hi metal to me. leaving bad review

"Hi Metal" is just a brand name, just like Subway's "foot long" subs. Only a fool would expect a sandwich called a "foot long" to be 12 inches. :p

Everytime i show a MetalBuild, I always get asked the same question: "Is this a metal model kit?" bc it says "build:huh:"

I still don't know wtf the difference is between the "Metal Build" and "Metal Composite" line. :unknw:

oh yeah baby! will you be applying the decals?

That's certainly going to bump up the realism to model level.

THANK YOU VERY MUCH! Now I just have to figure out how to print this as custom decal printing is beyond me at this point but I'm inclined to get set up for it.:good:

Totally, my foot is nowhere near 12 inches.
