locidm Posted November 2, 2023 Posted November 2, 2023 (edited) On amazon US's site now for $110 + tax, free ship, seller is interestingly amazon Japan. https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B0BX2L8X9G/ref=ppx_yo_dt_b_asin_title_o00_s00?ie=UTF8&psc=1 Edit: Amazon.jp won't ship to US if you buy from amazon.jp. They will however ship it to US if you buy from amazon.com. So weird. Edited November 2, 2023 by locidm Quote

Guyffon Posted November 7, 2023 Posted November 7, 2023 (edited) In japan now and the local shops sell the VF-0D for 12800yen, too bad I already bought my copy a while ago. edit for spelling mistakes Edited November 7, 2023 by Guyffon Quote
MKT Posted November 7, 2023 Author Posted November 7, 2023 Something weird is happening at Mandarake. For longest time the 0S is sitting at Yen 11k, and 0D at Yen12k respectively. Then last week, new available listings of them went up by Yen 1k each, which I assume to be the prices having turned the corner, but then I find it has been retrospectively applied to all the sold listings in their other stores too. For eg, the 0S being at Yen 11k sold at their multiple stores, is now suddenly Yen 12k sold in all of them. Quote
eXis10z Posted November 7, 2023 Posted November 7, 2023 That happens to their metal build as well. Quote
MikeRoz Posted January 19 Posted January 19 (edited) Has anyone who placed a stateside pre-order not received their VF-0D yet? I pre-ordered from Galactic Toys and Games. I reached out to them via e-mail and they said they were still expecting the figure but they did not have an ETA. They did say they'd be willing to provide a refund. I see it's in stock at Amazon and other places, but for more than I paid. I actually ordered a bunch of modeling supplies from them near the end of last year and they all were delivered, so it's not like they're scammers. But I find it odd that they haven't received their VF-0Ds when many other US vendors have. Edited January 19 by MikeRoz Quote

Would be nice to think that SDFM/DYRL Bandai stuff would sell for less than the cost of buying straight from Japan...too bad we'll never know Edited March 15 by jvmacross Quote

Too bad indeed that that won't ever happen for Bandai valks (even Arcadia now). But being able to get these HMR Mac Zero valks below $100 is a godsend for me since the Arcadia ones were way out of my price range. I had given up on having a MacZero collection after selling off my old Yamato ones. I can't wait for the HMR VF-0A w/ ghost to add to my 0S and 0D, even if they're not 1/60 scale. Quote

God, I wish the regular Hi-Metal R VF-0 toys came with a fraction of the stickers I see that this custom has added. I guess maybe I can hope that Arcadia will re-release the 1/60 scale VF-0's with WWM and competitive pricing too! Twich Quote
twich Posted April 6 Posted April 6 2 hours ago, ArchieNov said: Arcadia with competitve pricing? Yeah, a first release 1/60 scale VF-0D goes for 50000 yen used, where as most DX Chogokin from Bandai are 22000-30000 yen. I know/realize that Arcadia is smaller and therefore doesn’t have the profit margin to make things lower priced, but one could hope that if Arcadia can sell outside of Japan, more production numbers might mean more profits for them. I can dream….. I guess we will find out Twich Quote

David Hingtgen Posted June 1 Posted June 1 IGN had a very short-lived sale a few days ago, plus an extra 10% off coupon, and I jumped on it when I saw it. Not sure if I'll just pencil it a bit, or try to get some decals too. Quote

Usagi Posted July 9 Posted July 9 One of my favorite Hi Metal R figures. Looks exactly like Arcadia version... but cheaper... And as mist of HMR figures it still can be found in normal shops. So far found one flaw that was common to most of figures... and it is screw cover on legs... sometimes this little circles just fall off due to lack of glue. But this can be easily fixed, so should not be a bis issue. HI-METAL R VF-0D Phoenix - Almost Arcadia? // HI-METAL R VF-0Dフェニックス (English subtitles) Quote
