I have not seen M7 and don't need this release, but I'm surprised there isn't more complaining about the price. This thing is priced at what I would normally pay for a YF-19 from Amazon Canada. Which is usually around $100 Canadian more than the Japanese retail price. So I expect when it is sold here in Canada it will be $100 more than this price which is getting close to what they charged for the expensive YF-21 here.

It is nice to see that it is still available at AE and other sites. But I'm wondering if that's because of the price.

Edit: Just checked and the DX YF-19 reissue was 24,000 Yen before tax compared to this one at 30,000 Yen before tax. Now I'm afraid of what they will charge for any new DX VF-1 figures coming out.

I also think the neck cover on this one in jet mode looks really bad, Not sure what they were thinking there.

Nope.

Tariffs or not.

Don;t really see anything nice in the design nor any worthwhile extras to justify the very steep pricing.

10k-yen will only get you the P-Bandai adaptor/connector.

it'll most likely  be another 30k-yen (and/or moar) for the actual Sound Booster accessory from P-Bandai...

No way I am paying crazy prices for accessories. Hard pass if Bandai decide to make it an exclusive with high price. I am still waiting up for the dx chogokin vf-1 fast pack to go down. I prefer to buy mecha instead
