I'm a huge Macross 7 fan, have probably watched it a dozen times since it was first released in 94. I've bought all the toys, CDs art books etc.

However, stangely I've never had a burning desire for toys of the VF-11MAXL and VF-17T Kai.

I've always been far more interested in owning toys of the VF-17D/S, VF-19F/S, VF-11C/D/Full Armor, VF-22S, Fz-109F/A,

Since Bandai has a rep of releasing repaints of the same mold, we know to expect at least a DX VF-22S as well as docker's 19 after the Kai.

I thought the yamato VF-17D was the most expensive and nicest looking toy for a while. I'm not sure if Bandai will best it.

A Bandai vf-11b or c  would be nice to see. 

I do hope Bandai does commit to making the M7 line robust now they're done releasing the Macross plus toys.

I hope this is true because up until now we haven't seen Max's VF-1S, Hikaru's VF-1A, Aisha's VF-19, Mei's VF-27 and Roid's Sv-262.

For the DX VF-19 Fire Valk and follow on DX VF-19F/S, there are 2 things I hope:

1) Bandai don't use the stupid folding front landing gear from the DX VF-19 Advance / DX YF-19. Always hated that as it's fiddly to get in and out and the hinge joint gets loose after a while and collapses easily.

2) for a potential future VF-19F/S I hope Bandai manage to make the GU-15 Gunpod front end the correct size like Yamato and Arcadia did, rather than using the skinny front end from the DX VF-19 Advance / DX YF-19, which is one of my pet peeves as it never looks right to me.

They were part of the Super Minipla line. Technically, those are candy toys, which are more akin to kinder surprise at face value. But unlike those litteral plastic wastes, SMP is positioned as an animation accurate adult nostalgia model kit collector line, with a single piece of gum or candy to pretend there is any candy element to it at all. The franchises they make kits for in that line are forgotten unobtainium. They reach far back to forgotten or unheard of mechas, even more obscure than the likes of scrapped voltrons, and sentai combiner planes before megazords were a thing. These things are scalped as badly as DX.

The fembots I refered to in particular are from the GaoGaiGar OVA. They never got toys like the rest of the bots from the show, and they are probably far less known, since the OVA they debuted in was a much later produced mini sequel. They were released as a P-Bandai set to really squeeze those wallets of the few fans. Bandai knows how to do that obscure low volume stuff if they actually feel like it.

Bandai reprinted Hikaru Vf-1J for the 100th time as the Metal Build Exia. Max 1s DYRL will come once they decide how to distinguish Roy's Dyrl from the TV version. I think they already started with the TV only hands and missiles packaging with the recent hikaru 1J. i would expect a DYRL package with micro missiles and dryl hands will follow.

Bandai's out for money and Hikaru DYRL 1A was the worst seller. I would guess it's lottery P-Bandai.  i doubt there's interest with Roid's SV-262 but then again bandai did a Bogue variant so Roid may be realistic.   Aisha 19 or Mei 27, Bandai will not be doing any video game character based valk soon esp since Macross is niche market and they will first pump out all the mainline anime variants first.  

DX M7 lineup: the easiest would be Bandai to make money of the yf-21 mold, I could see a VF-22S and the 19S/F since the KAI is displayed.

I agree. It just ruins -19 toys IMO for not a lot of benefit.
