Here’s my take of VF-31D, using Hasegawa 1/72 VF-31A as a base.  It’s a pretty quick straightforward build, nothing fancy. I go with the conventional Macross scheme. To me, without the kite logo and the red arrow/triangle at the intake, it’s not Macross 😄

Good looking model! I like that you chose the trainer scheme from the VF-1D. There something about that tan/orange combo. Makes this a flashy looking bird.

And I'm with you about the kite. Really miss it on the newer machines. I think next time I do a newer VF, it'll be getting some kites too.;)
