YetiStands. I remember someone here recreated YF-19 inverted above YF-21. @ChaoticYeti got busy with his job preventing him to make more. Maybe one day.

I think that might have been me at one point..... I know I had my 21 and 19 on the same Yetistand in fighter mode at some point years ago.

That was probably such a big in joke at the animation studio. There was probably a reason why we never saw it out of fighter mode in the show. That or I totally blanked it out of my memory.

i recently moved so it'll go temp in storage till i find a bigger space

Is it me or does the pilot for the Angel Bird seem to be more of an appropriate size? Meaning, this pilot doesn't look like tiny like the Hikaru & Max TV figures.

I know, I know. We always blame Bandai for the new markings and decisions. But Tenjin-san is really adding his flair and make it canon. Designing the emblem and markings to commemorate the 40th Anniversary.

I don't think I can honestly say I've ever cared about paintschemes being canon in the first place.  Some of my favorite schemes are ones made up by fans.

My issue is that all of these new "celebratory" markings Bandai and Arcadia like to slap on their valks tend to be ducking fugly.  Can we just have something that looks good?

Then they need to hire someone else aside from Tenjin who designs and approves.

And that is correct, any TWE item is always pay upfront.

I find that Kaki price totally bizarre. Maybe my fellow collectors in Canada are just cheap, but I took forever to sell my MIB DYRL Hikaru VF-1S and Kaki VF-1A. And for Kaki I ended up selling over $100 less than I paid for it. Buyers here want to pay retail price or close to it for used copies, but it's very difficult to buy them at retail price in the first place so that doesn't make sense.

Bandai seems to be very inconsistent with their commitment to symmetry.

They double down on it with Kakizaki, but then lose faith in their symmetry god by not making the left leg of the Angel Birds VF-1 spell out "sdriB legnA".

Funny, it's almost like the original reversed modex was a mistake...

On the other hand though, "Sdrib Legna" sounds vaguely Slavic.  I kind of want markings for a team of Sv-51s with those markings now.

Considering how proud Bandai is of overdoing the markings, it just might stay all red.
