Another great character actor lost to us.  RIP, Fred.

I actually watched Tremors for the first time since childhood a couple weeks ago. I really enjoyed Fred's character. He was incredibly likeable.

You don't often see a gruff, country, blue collar worker type played without any sort of toxicity. He was tough, but willing to show fear, and had no problem asking a woman/scientist for help when he needed it and taking her seriously. Maybe credit is due to the writer/director for that but Fred made it work.

And Tremors II. He made the only good sequel to it worth while.  Take care Mr. Ward, you are an iconic man who shall be missed.

Aw man. Dude was a part of the tapestry, really enjoyed his movies. Time Rider haha... He had the best line of the movie in The Right Stuff, but I won't repeat it here 😐

RIP Fred.
