TangledThorns Posted April 13, 2022 Posted April 13, 2022 First time I saw Gilbert and he was hilarious!! RIP
M'Kyuun Posted April 14, 2022 Posted April 14, 2022 I've never been a Howard Stern fan, but I have to admit, that was a really nice tribute to Gilbert. I also have to admit that I've never thought much of Mr. Gottfried, but having seen more of his work of late, the guy was amazing for his intelligence, quick wit, and quirky sense of humor. To have come from such a humble beginning and achieve what he did on sheer smarts and talent is inspiring and laudable. RIP Gilbert. Keep 'em laughing wherever you are.
Mog Posted April 14, 2022 Posted April 14, 2022 I’ve watched a few of his roasts of celebrities recently. He could be vicious in a very ridiculous, over-the-top kind of way! 😅
505thAirborne Posted April 14, 2022 Posted April 14, 2022 Gilbert Gottfried and his real voice! He was definitely a one of a kind.
Valkyrie Hunter D Posted April 15, 2022 Posted April 15, 2022 The last time he made me laugh was when I heard him read the lyrics to Cardi B.'s WAP. RIP Mr. Gottfried.
Bolt Posted April 15, 2022 Posted April 15, 2022 When i saw Aladdin in the theater decades ago, and the mood in the opening scene with Jaffar is dark and serious, his voice was like hammer on glass . It shattered the dark mood with hilarity. RIP my friend.
