GobotFool Posted January 29, 2004 Author Posted January 29, 2004 (edited) Well I have heard no news, no pictures have been shown for ages on progress, I am wondering if they have been abandoned? The fan base for votoms I understand is practically non-existent last I heard. Edited January 29, 2004 by GobotFool Quote
1st Border Red Devil Posted January 29, 2004 Posted January 29, 2004 I would imagine that Yamato would have made an announcement if they had been cancelled....at least I would they would. I hope they aren't cause it will actually be the only Yamato toys I will buy. While I do think their Valkyries look nice....Im about as interested in them as a submarine is in need of a screen door . Its probably just taking longer than anticipated. Quote

Can I just take a minute to applaud you for saying, "dang, man"... It made me feel all southern for a minute there... Quote
yellowlightman Posted January 30, 2004 Posted January 30, 2004 Given the amoutn of Votoms OVA's and other products released in the 20 years since the original airing, I'd say there's definately a fanbase out there... I'm sure it's just in development, these thinsg don't get made over night you know! Quote
Graham Posted January 30, 2004 Posted January 30, 2004 It's still in development. As I understand it, Yamato had to go back and change some stuff and add more details to their preliminary sculpt. IIRC, one of the new March Hobby magazines has a small pic of the cockpit sculpt. I'll try to scan it over the weekend if I have time. Graham Quote
