newca Posted January 29, 2004 Posted January 29, 2004 (edited) maybe not just PS, could be higher lever CG work, wanna see more, anybody knows about the maker? Edited January 29, 2004 by newca Quote
NERV Posted January 29, 2004 Posted January 29, 2004 dont know who did the photoshopping but the kit was built by wm cheng, this one is my favorite, if i didnt know better id say it was real Quote
Chronocidal Posted January 29, 2004 Posted January 29, 2004 (edited) It looks like a slightly edited photo (if it's edited at all.. maybe blurred shadow a bit), that's the Hasegawa model kit, albeit a superdetailed one. I'd recognize those proportions and landing gear anywhere. I've spent the better part of 3 months replicating that in the computer. I've seen this kind of effect before, people use special lenses to get these effects without any editing done at all. That's simply amazing.. looks like they cut the control surfaces loose to angle them. O_O That would be insane on a kit that small....and I've got a new background Edited January 29, 2004 by Chronocidal Quote

to177 Posted January 30, 2004 Posted January 30, 2004 regardless it's PS OR CG, WM Cheng have some mad skillz! Very realistic rendering! Quote
wm cheng Posted January 30, 2004 Posted January 30, 2004 Hi oh! Thanks for all the kudos, unfortunately, the first photo with the canopy down was not built by me. The second photo was of my model (can't remember who did the photoshop work though), but I did cut the flaps and repositioned them down which is not the case in the first photo. Quote
