Myersjessee Posted February 20, 2005 Author Posted February 20, 2005 Still trying to figure out how 6 was there, and then gone...or was she...or what???
Major Johnathan Posted February 20, 2005 Posted February 20, 2005 for the love of god, someone please give her boney ass a cheeseburger! eeewww For God's sake man, most of the developed world, especially my beloved America is FAT, beyond all historical records, we are FATTER than ever. ( I for one am constantly trying to drop 20 lbs or so, I'm a lazy bastard...I make no excuses. ) That boomer's a bit skinny (Not unhealthily), or any woman/person, should be admired. It's quite easy to grow one's self a fat arse. Not so easy to keep fit, lean or skinny. Now don't get me started on breast implants, 'cause you guys that say she needs more meat on her bones almost always seem to think shoving bags of jelly inside her breats is great too... Mark my words, in a 100 years people will look back at the balloon breasted, flabby assed women we hold up as 'perfection' and think WTF were they thinking???
1/1 LowViz Lurker Posted February 20, 2005 Posted February 20, 2005 Chipmunk cheeks lol (the bottom or the top?)
Anubis Posted February 20, 2005 Posted February 20, 2005 for the love of god, someone please give her boney ass a cheeseburger! eeewww I have all the meat that she needs.
EXO Posted February 20, 2005 Posted February 20, 2005 Still trying to figure out how 6 was there, and then gone...or was she...or what??? she was!!! then disappeared...
Major Johnathan Posted February 20, 2005 Posted February 20, 2005 (edited) Just got done watching the first couple hours of the mini-series on DVD(saw it on TV first of course). I really recommend any of you fence sitters go buy it, it's under $25 on Ebay, probably better deals elsewhere. And any who don't like it or had one or two things bug them about it, you really should give it one more viewing. I like Babylon-5, I like Farscape, and I like Enterprise, but I think BSG has 'em beat. By the way, there's only 13 episodes for seaon 1? That's kind of a bummer, most shows have like 22 or 24 a season. Edited February 20, 2005 by Major Johnathan
Die, Alien Scum! Posted February 20, 2005 Posted February 20, 2005 (edited) By the way, there's only 13 episodes for seaon 1? That's kind of a bummer, most shows have like 22 or 24 a season. I kinda figured that since it started airing a week before the second half of the season for the Stargate franchise. I couldn't see new episodes of BG airing after reruns of SG-1 and Atlantis. Yeah it sucks, but here's four little words that will make it alright: cheaper DVD box set. And just to make it perfectly clear... Edited February 20, 2005 by Die, Alien Scum!
Akilae Posted February 20, 2005 Posted February 20, 2005 (edited) for the love of god, someone please give her boney ass a cheeseburger! eeewww What's wrong with j00 all?!?! You wouldn't recognize a Korean beauty if she straddled you screaming it... sheesh man... I'll take Grace Park anytime, anywhere Oh yeah, a lil aside: I think BSG is one of the better sci-fi series to hit the small screen in quite a long time... been getting a bit tired of watching Stargate, needed something new. Opus Posted February 21, 2005 Posted February 21, 2005 Well since were still playing this game, Yet another president says:
Major Johnathan Posted February 21, 2005 Posted February 21, 2005 Oh stop hitting it already! I got a question. The new BSG is a remake of the original, right? Naturally they want to do it deifferent a bit. I remember the original show, but I was 4 or 5 years old, and I don't think I ever saw it since. So in the original, was there already a Cylon war in the past? As in the new show where there was a Cylon war 40(?) years earlier, and the present is the RETURN of the Cylons. Am I making sense? In other words, the remake seems like a sequel in the story line, but then there's Adama, Starbuck and Apollo... so it is a remake.? I confused myself, what's the answer? On that point, was the Viper in the old show, an OLD design as it is in the new?(if you know what I mean). I don't remember it being old.

The Galactica was escorting the council of 12 to the Cylon homeworld to sign a peace treaty when they attacked.

I'm not a chubby chaser, gimme nice slim asian women like Grace Park anyday. Graham Not about being chubby, Graham, its about not being anorexic. Marylin Monroe wore a size 16 (which, granted, is like as size 12 these days, but still). A woman without curves is basically a 10 year old boy. I don't know about the rest of you, but I am not attracted to 10 year old boys. Edited February 21, 2005 by Duke Togo
Knight26 Posted February 21, 2005 Posted February 21, 2005 I agree Duke, but we really need to get back on topic.
Coota0 Posted February 22, 2005 Posted February 22, 2005 The picture at the top of the page definatly has a couple of curves.
Hikuro Posted February 22, 2005 Posted February 22, 2005 You know seeing that last picture of her in the normal clothes, it starts to hit me that I've seen her somewhere before from that picture....but what was it?!
Gaijin Posted February 22, 2005 Posted February 22, 2005 She's been in a few TV shows. In that pic she looks like Ming Na though.

The new show is a retelling of the original series. The Sci-Fi channel uses elements of the original series, but made alterations. Check http://www.battlestargalactica.com for an an overview of the original and current series. On that point, was the Viper in the old show, an OLD design as it is in the new?(if you know what I mean). I don't remember it being old. The vipers used in the original series were considered the current production models for their time.
Godzilla Posted February 22, 2005 Posted February 22, 2005 I really need to stop checking this thread out... now I need to go get this month's maxim...
Gaijin Posted February 23, 2005 Posted February 23, 2005 Some great news: Galactica Returns This Summer SCI FI Channel announced that the second season of its hit original series Battlestar Galactica will premiere this summer, with 20 new episodes. The channel added that the entire ensemble cast will return for season two, including Edward James Olmos, Mary McDonnell, Katee Sackhoff, Jamie Bamber, James Callis, Tricia Helfer and Grace Park. Also resuming their roles are executive producer and writer Ronald D. Moore and executive producer David Eick. Galacticar will resume production in Vancouver, B.C., in March and will again anchor the channel's SCI FI Friday block of prime-time original series. The series, which premiered on January 14, has been averaging over 3 million viewers per episode and has quickly become SCI FI's highest-rated original series and has received unprecedented critical acclaim. Galactica airs Fridays at 10 p.m. ET, part of the channel's successful SCI FI Friday lineup, which also includes Stargate SG-1 and Stargate Atlantis. Galactica ends its first season with a finale episode on April 1. 20 more episodes...starting in summer...didn't think they'd tip the hat so soon. Bet Zoic and co will be working overtime come March.
Opus Posted February 23, 2005 Posted February 23, 2005 Is Hatch's charachter going to be in more episodes or was that a one time deal?
EXO Posted February 23, 2005 Posted February 23, 2005 Hatch returns one more time during this season and possibly in more stories next season. His character seems to be integral to the political situation of the fleet.
Opus Posted February 23, 2005 Posted February 23, 2005 I'm kinaa thinking he'll try to get himself elected president. I seem to remember when they were trying to get this made he was going to play Adama I wonder what hapened to that.
Greyryder Posted February 23, 2005 Posted February 23, 2005 I'm kinaa thinking he'll try to get himself elected president. I seem to remember when they were trying to get this made he was going to play Adama I wonder what hapened to that. Probably because Hatch wanted nothing to do with this new series. He absolutely hated the idea of a reinvisioning, untill he actually saw it. After he saw the mini-series, he really liked what they were doing with it. They would never have gotten him on board for the mini-series. I wouldn't be surprised if his character makes more attempts to "free his people." I'd still like to Dirk Benidict show up, for at least one episode. The big comeback.

Southpaw Samurai Posted February 23, 2005 Posted February 23, 2005 Hatch was pimping (to the point of making a 'teaser trailer' for it) a series that was more of a sequel, with him being an older Apollo now in his father's place as the guy in charge and with any of the old time actors back that would be willing. The idea definitely had potential and many old fans were behind him more than a revisioned series. At this moment, however, I'm actually quite glad his idea never took off and we instead have what we currently have.
Gaijin Posted February 24, 2005 Posted February 24, 2005 (edited) I'm not keen on Dirk coming back. He wrote a nasty column about the new show...while some of his statements are somewhat true...it comes off more like sounding he's sour he's not in it as Starbuck again. The Mini-lowdown with him and Katee (Starbuck & Starbuck at Starbucks)... he did it but was really not pleased doing so... Hatch opposed the direction the new show was taking too...but seriously...what else has he been in? He still wants to do a "continuation" of the old show...possibly in a mini series or movie format. In the series lowdown, there's a clip of him practically begging to be in a scene with the ladies. And on the other side: For those without Cable, Sci Fi channel, or whatever...Sci-Fi is now showing the 1st episode "33" online...through their own website. And there's a new video feature on the high/low tech of the show...pretty interesting. http://www.scifi.com/battlestar/bts/video/ Edited February 24, 2005 by Gaijin
