mikeszekely Posted January 31, 2022 Posted January 31, 2022 No, not the Revelations cartoon. Netflix and Mattel are collaborating on a new live action MotU movie, with the Nee Brothers directing and co-writing with David Callaham. Details are sparse, but apparently Kyle Allen (American Horror Story) is being tapped to play Prince Adam. Quote

TangledThorns Posted January 31, 2022 Posted January 31, 2022 Yeesh, Netflix is going all in on He-Man. There are other cool 1980s cartoons they could have rebooted. *cough* ROBOTECH *cough* Quote
jenius Posted January 31, 2022 Posted January 31, 2022 ExoSquad! Was that 90s? If they redid ExoSquad with talented mech designers it could be epic. Quote

Big s Posted February 2, 2022 Posted February 2, 2022 Bionic six would be cool, it’s a bit more down to earth so it would be harder to screw up. I do think a live action He Man has potential to be good, the key word though is potential Quote
Keith Posted February 2, 2022 Posted February 2, 2022 A Live action Bionix Six would be at heavy risk of litigation for the already "borrowwd" 6 Million Dollar Man & Bionic Woman designs. Quote
mikeszekely Posted February 2, 2022 Author Posted February 2, 2022 I could definitely go for some Exo Squad. Quote

Or they could get the rights to all 3 and make Bionic Six an explicit canon sequel instead of a heavily-implied we-can't-legally-say-it sequel. Quote

Though I do wish for Mospeada though...maybe a reboot or gaiden story (like side story of other soldiers who made it on surface or maybe some worldbuilding). There is Genesis Breakers but no updates for four years as of now. Quote
Keith Posted February 3, 2022 Posted February 3, 2022 Exosquad is ripe with possibilities, the main story ended & left the door wide open for a new conflict. Hell, I"d even take a reboot of "Bucky O'Hare.' Quote
