With the substancial number of parts of the Deer Stalker, it took forever to clean everthing up even before even glueing things together. I love the range of subjects in the line, but the kits are not cheap, and the engineering should be a bit better. I didn’t really find them to be much different than the majority of other model companies. Bandai seems to be the only one doing little pin point connections and have spoiled a lot of builders recently. 6 hours ago, Chas said: Did you take any pics of the marks? Not sure what 'injection points' are. Maybe ejector pin marks? Regardless, that's not the best news, not a deal breaker mind you, but still disappointing to hear. I’m pretty sure he’s referring to how the sprue connects to the individual parts. As I said above they thick compared to Bandai, but pretty much where the rest of the companies are with them Quote

electric indigo Posted December 11, 2023 Posted December 11, 2023 Great old school vibes, let's see if they reach the Dagger before Orange Cat does. Quote

sh9000 Posted December 14, 2023 Posted December 14, 2023 (edited) ED-209 reissue. Robocop. Robocop (Jetpack Equipment). Edited December 14, 2023 by sh9000 Quote
Big s Posted December 14, 2023 Posted December 14, 2023 I want the Robocop, so I can practice on metallics. There’s this subtle hints of color like blues and purples giving the movi version that heated titanium look, but in a softer way. I’d like to see if I can do it in small scale without overdoing it’s a challenge to myself. Quote

F-ZeroOne Posted January 3 Posted January 3 For those curious about what it takes to build a Moderoid: Quote
Big s Posted February 16 Posted February 16 Haven’t seen the anime for Bang Brave Bang Bravern, but the moderoid looks pretty cool. It’s pretty cheap as well at less than twenty bucks on preorder sales. Looks like this will be just over 4 inches, so that might be why it doesn’t cost as much as most of the recent moderoids. It’s listed as non scale Quote

electric indigo Posted April 30 Posted April 30 I just finished the MODEROID Thunderjaw and it's one of my favorite mecha kits. More pics in my Flickr album The kit's quality is great, but getting that paint scheme right was a huge challenge. Quote

The lack of a little Alloy figure to put this beast into scale is a little letdown. The kit turned out and looks fantastic! I really want to buy one, but so far all by Moderoid kits just collect dust partially snapped (Sterlitzia, Escaflowne, Big-O, and Evangelion 01...) Hope Goodsmile keeps up more kits from Horizion, so many good mecha designs. Edited May 9 by Rock Quote
Beltane70 Posted May 9 Posted May 9 I didn’t even know that the Iczer Robo kit was out! I guess I knew what I’m buying next. Quote

Bobby Posted May 28 Posted May 28 Saw this video of the Moderoid booth and noticed this for a split second and couldn't believe my eyes... Chouriki Robo Galatt wasn't very popular/well-known (designed by Kunio Okawara). The main mech Janbu only got one transforming kit which was limited to 80's tech partsforming ... a modern take on this is so welcomed. Quote

The plan is one set in lions and the other in combined form obviously, however I've been trying to think of some spare parts I could use for leg covers, particularly on the arms and rears on the legs. electric indigo Posted May 30 Posted May 30 Linebarrel box looks cool. And the kit itself isn't too shabby, too: Quote

Broken blade is a fun addition, Giant Gorg looks fun. A lot of these are from franchises that have needed kits decades ago and others are more recent. Some are surprisingly obscure. Maybe one day they’ll get around to Southern Cross Quote
Chas Posted June 26 Posted June 26 Ooooo! Planetary Robot Danguard Ace! That's a definite buy for me. That and the Mospeada Ride Armor as well. Can wait for the pre-orders to open up. Quote
Chas Posted June 27 Posted June 27 Last day of school here today and I finished everything that needed doing yesterday; so just a quick staff meeting in the am and the rest of the day was mine. This guy arrived yesterday so I brought it along today and did a quick assembly. Sorry for the bad cell phone pics. Quote
