Really good episode today, easy 8/10 for me. Pretty tense episode, solid pacing, and best of all, no B plot at all. I hope the rest of the season keeps up with this trend and pacing, this was a solid episode.

Yeah, that was awesome. I don't know if I have ever seen a show go from garbage to pretty darn good in the span of two episodes. Fingers crossed they keep it at the level it is now.

That’s how I felt about wandavision. Those first three episodes were tough to get through

I was trying to figure out what real guns they used for the base of all of the guns in the room in that scene. I didn't come up with much. Maybe a couple M-60's?

I was afraid this would happen as soon as I heard this episode was only the main plot line. That the following episode would be solely Plot B. 😠

I'm usually okay with the soap opera on Madrigal, but I did not miss it at all in this last episode! It was like dropping dead weight, and the episode soared! Best one to date!

The B plot/story is killing this series, I think it's universally disliked, even by people like me that still like the show overall. Everything comes to a halt with Kwan and the Madrigal stuff, it's just not interesting and I don't care about anyone or anything going on, it's killing the pacing of this season.

And as we go along, I think he's fitting into the role. I doubted a bit at first, but I think he's got it.

As to esp7 'All About Madrigal' it was an alright episode. Nothing outstanding, but good filler. And I think they actually tied up that plot-line...

At the end, Kwan and Soren returned to her family's compound, where Vinsher Grath caught up to them, along with a lot of his men. Thinking they were done for, Kwan revealed how they could blow the refinery's fuel stores, and seek shelter in a bunker just off the main central area. She does so by using a rifle previously dropped by John-117 and shooting at the tanks. Vinsher and all of his men were then incinerated.

Before that though, Kwan was told that her family had been Protectors of a planet-wide secret, and that she would be the one to 'open the door' for John, so their plots will come back together again near the end, I assume.

Again, not bad. For filler.

Good lord this show is all over the place. IMO it has more bad minutes than good by a pretty big margin. IDK why I'm watching it anymore. Well, I do. It's because I'm watching all of the good shows with the wife and when I want to watch something when she's not around I'm stuck with drek like this.

If it wasn't "Halo" I would have turned it off by now.

I have to agree the writing on this show is all over the place. This episode was just 🤨😵 Not B-plot-boring but just bizarre.

Re-started watching the series and into episode 2 now. It's f'ing clear they worked to borrow from so many other series and movies out there for this one show. Real shame they couldn't make it stand out on its own. Again, an epic action movie would have been the best route.

Agreed....Episode 8 got rather weird. Turned me off a bit to this show just when it was starting to really grab me.

Was anyone else thinking............that it was a little weird watching a love scene with two virgins? It certainly lasted longer than I expected.
