yes they taking couple days off some take a week off during the golden week ..

Got mine and it seems that the tolerance issues with the wing tabs are still there, just that they are slightly better than those on hayate’s version. They can hold fighter mode, but will still pop off from time to time.

Are the issues you guys are talking about that bad?  So far this is the only VF-31AX I've wanted to get.  I just don't want to get irritated spending that much money and it's floppy or popping out of position all the time.

Fiddled with my newly arrived Mirage. As expected it has all the same problems as the Hayate release. Overall the 31AX is a big step backwards from the original 31.

She's a pretty bird but a frustrating experience to actually handle. I do like the color and overall look more than Hayate's though.

Amazing! so much attention was given to details. I like how you painted the spotlight thing above the shoulders, would that be like homage to the original VF-1?

Hey thanks! I always thought they were sensor units, but whatever they are I painted them in since Bandai keeps skipping that detail.

Like the landing gears, the gold thingy on the shoulders are a small detail, but somehow makes that whole area pop.

I posted about it last page. I poked them last week (they tend to work faster when you bug them I find) and they said it should be shipping after Golden Week which should have just finished.

We'll see if they hold to that. I certainly will keep on them.

"After Golden Week" leaves a lot of room for them to ship far later than other stores, given past performance. I hope the shipping is better this time (speed and packing materials). And I hope they've worked out their supply issues and don't resort to buying units off of Amazon Japan again.

I managed to snag one at HLJ a few weeks before the release date. Blind luck really. They shipped mine last weekend, so they must have been trying to get as many orders out as possible before shutting down for Golden Week.

I'm not really the especially impatient honestly. I just want to keep LP accountable cause they didn't move on Hayate for me until I actually bugged them lol. That's why I think they need to be poked, cause they do have some issues as has been stated.

If I wanted it sooner, I wouldn't have gone with them, I'd have braved the madness and likely done HLJ or something. I'm willing to wait a bit.

With Hayate, the wings could not be tabbed properly to the legs near the ankles in Fighter. They keep slipping out as the toy is handled.

Seriously.. It’s just a die cast metallic figure. Totally blowing it out of proportion. It’s like saying your dish that you cooked is like dog barf according to the judges on Masterchef but you gave it your all and nailed the brief at what you presented and featured what is the hero of the dish. 

I agree with ya on that point, just another repaint with the faulty design issues. The reason for my anxiety however, rather than the toy itself, is to see if LP fulfills preorders in timely manner which ultimately helps my decision for future purchases with them, that is all.

Yeah the arms and the wing tabs mainly. The arms required getting the bicep panel set just right and it can be annoying. The wings required actually filing the tabs down a bit to fit.

On the whole not terrible, and they are fixable, but the issue is no customer should have to deal with it at all. I'm more relaxed than others on it but I get the issue.

I slow boat ship a lot of stuff these days due to how high shipping costs have become. I have learned nearly infinite patience during the pandemic.

I don't slow boat valks though because I don't trust my hard-to-replace valks not getting lost or banged up on such a long journey.

Got a Mirage in the mail today and just finished checking it out. Surprisingly I didn’t have to file down the wing tabs at all, and even the hot origami mess of the arms lined up better especially the guns now don’t drool as much...weird.

You know that Manda is not responsible for screwed up boxes right @Lolicon? It's the carriers that handle actual packaging. @Slave IV had a package from AJ that was literally torn to snot and the actual box that Houquet was packaged in was crushed like an eggshell.

I know it’s not Manda that sends it out in a box like that @Lolicon, there are some people that still believe that Manda is still responsible for packages that are damaged upon delivery.

Those USPS "WE CARE" stickers are the worse.   when they post that on my package , it means its mess up pretty badly that it will required re wrapping, drying or something else.
