  1. 1. What do you think of the 1/8 Sara Norm GK?

    • Excellent approximation of the character's appearance in the OVA
      14
    • Is OK but not all that great
      13
    • Awful proportions/does not come close to the character's looks

Well, if you wanna say is a mirror portrait of the character then that's a minus...

...but now a days "all" of the girsl are hormoned or siliconed and most people seems to be fine with it...

Not all... but certainly all the ones by this OverDard guy

And yes, he's the guy who sculpted the Sara kit...

chun li is gonna have chronic back problem carry those around all day...

....not that thats necessarily a bad thing. ;)

The figure makes Sara look a lot thicker than the OAV's (not that there's anything wrong with that). Since this IS a resin kit you're expected to see a little "fan service".

Protoculture in favor of the women? I guess so. Move over Chunky Misa.

He he he he

That's a pretty inaccurate sculpt IMO. The face is definitely not accurate to the line-art and the body is far too err....voluptuous

Graham

Thanks for the correction.

Tis a bit much.

I just don't know, something don't seem right about this, maybe it's the face, the height, the shouders, hip and the skin color. But the breast seem right to me, I like it :p:p

Maybe the figure is a tad bit lean?

I also found something wrong with this sculpt, but I can't quite put my finger on what it is that's bothering me.

Is the sculptor the one that did those insanely busty resin models of Lady Une (Gundam Wing) and Cima (Gundam 0083) sold at the first C3?

A few of his other masterpieces....

Well actually, a person can only have one "masterpiece", which, as we all know, is the work that an apprentice does in order to prove that he's learned his craft and can now be considered a "Master" of his trade. A "masterpiece" is not always a person's best work, as is the mis-informed belief.

:p

P.S.- How do they do the eyes on those models? I've never done one, so I don't know.

Bath them and bring them to me!

I see those pics and all I can say is "Ma Ma!"

I need to be alone now.

Its OK

She is a bit curvy and a bit more busty than the character looks in the show, but still I think I might just pick this one up.

After all it's not like she has the massive pointy hooters that the Amazing Nurse Nanako kit I did awhile back had.

Too curvy for my tastes. But he did an amazing job with her amulet.

hmmm... there's an idear... scratch and taste/smell

:smack self:

I'm almost done. Just finished all the details on her dress last week. Currently detailing the face right now.

Pic is from 2 weeks ago.

The bird-man amulet for Overdard's figure is highly inaccurate. It's not an egg with wings and a crown. The shape is not right and the swirl in the center also goes the wrong direction. From all the pics I've seen it's supposed to be one solid flat piece of metal (or wood) with no dimension to it.

This is my bird-man amulet.
