Fortress_Maximus Posted August 25, 2021 Posted August 25, 2021 NFLX has a series called Record of Ragnarok. https://www.netflix.com/title/81281579 For those you who have seen it share your thoughts. If you have not seen it are you aware of the series? Do you plan to watch it? Cheers! Quote
Big s Posted August 25, 2021 Posted August 25, 2021 I saw the preview, and was turned off by the animation style. I also don’t know anyone that has seen it , so I probably will just pass unless I hear it’s worth the watch Quote
Dynaman Posted August 25, 2021 Posted August 25, 2021 Then again, if you have Netflix and are interested it is "free". Worst you can do is decide you don't like it and turn it off. Quote
Fortress_Maximus Posted August 25, 2021 Author Posted August 25, 2021 (edited) The episodes are damn short (less than 20 minutes) filled mainly with asinine filler, expositions, posing, and inane reactions by stupid characters (Goll). Watching the series and the animation is very stiff, far too many held frames with little to no actual animation. The fight sequences are boring AF mainly due to the lengthy flashbacks detailing character histories. Far too much time is spent on the other filler/audience characters reactions. 🤦♂️ The story premise has been done before, ala YuYuHakusho, where the champions of Earth battle for the survival of its inhabitants against 'gods'. 🥱 Edited August 26, 2021 by Fortress_Maximus Quote
cdxxdragon Posted February 14 Posted February 14 I enjoyed it. Just like comic books that have different artists, so too does anime & manga. Every artist has their own style. Some we like, while others we don't. Bottom line, we all have our own opinions about what we do & do not like, but regardless of what "we" think about the art, the story line, or the characters, "we" can all agree on one thing, "we" all luv to watch anime/manga, and are all just fans of the genre, and "we" all have our own likes and dislikes. So if there's a show you want to see, watch the first episode and make up your own mind whether or not "you" like it. Don't go off other's opinions and comments. Decide for yourself. Just saying.
