mslz22 Posted January 28, 2004 Posted January 28, 2004 (edited) This is another enigma, this one is a 1j, it has the alternate bird coming out of the clouds decals as opposed to the blowing wind one featured on Kurts awesome enigma, I am painting a set of 1/100 resin sazabi hands (which are about the same size as the Yamato 1j hands). Has the usual stuff, devins decals, weathering (much of which does not come out on my Digicam, especially the panel shading, but it is there), and a not yet dry Club M resin pilot. This is a commission for Min. Edited January 28, 2004 by mslz22 Quote
estacado06479 Posted January 28, 2004 Posted January 28, 2004 good job salzo, got to love the enigma, who is the lucky customer? Quote

mslz22 Posted January 28, 2004 Author Posted January 28, 2004 It's for Min, hope it's Ok to disclose, up next 1/55 Minmay Guard and a 1/48 Blue Roses (the hexagon quad colored one) Quote
Kurt Posted January 28, 2004 Posted January 28, 2004 Very nice. The Enigma seems to be the "in thing" now a days. Quote
CID Posted January 28, 2004 Posted January 28, 2004 WOW!!!! That is one hell of a custom. I can see how much time and energy went into that project.... This type of custom, among others reasons, is what makes me visit here once a day (Thanks to those that makes this site alive). Hope to see more customs from you and the other in the future. And happy happy to the new owner of that custom.... Quote
Nani?! Posted January 28, 2004 Posted January 28, 2004 NICE. Truly... a work of art. How much for a commission like this? Quote
JValk Posted January 28, 2004 Posted January 28, 2004 wow, great work! and did someone say 1/55 minmay guard? alright, i'm on deck! i'm really looking forward to seeing (and holding) my first ever Valkyrie custom, and with my fave theme too -Viva La Viverator! i'm sure it'll be awesome- what would we fanboys do without MacrossWorld and its talented fanbase? Quote
Neova Posted January 28, 2004 Posted January 28, 2004 Great work. Now lets see some Gerwalk and Battroid action! Quote
Hiriyu Posted January 28, 2004 Posted January 28, 2004 Great workmanship! Quick question: Are the kites on the sides of the fuselage painted or decalled? If those are decals, they are the kind Quote
Graham Posted January 28, 2004 Posted January 28, 2004 I notice that you have opened out the micro-missile ports on the FAST pack, to show the missiles.....nice Graham Quote
Rune Posted January 28, 2004 Posted January 28, 2004 Great work! Is it non transformable? Cuz I want to see the Battroid mode. Quote
singatron Posted January 28, 2004 Posted January 28, 2004 As a newbie in Macross. I must say this look very impressive indeed. Quote

mslz22 Posted January 28, 2004 Author Posted January 28, 2004 thanks everyone, I will post some battroid pics after I finish those hands tonight....thanks again oh all the kites are decals..... Quote
grassland Posted January 28, 2004 Posted January 28, 2004 Free to do one for me??? I dont even dare take the 1/48 apart let alone re-colour its! Awesome job!! Quote
hirohawa Posted January 28, 2004 Posted January 28, 2004 Looks awesome! What about paint scraping during transformation. The 1/60s when custom painted seem to scrape the paint off. Quote
Mr March Posted January 28, 2004 Posted January 28, 2004 Great stuff! The Enigma looks fantastic. Quote
Aegis! Posted January 28, 2004 Posted January 28, 2004 OK , I´m cutting my veins here for some Battroid pics Awesome Enigma , specially considering it´s a 1J which doesn´t recieve much love from customisers nowadays Quote
mister_e Posted January 28, 2004 Posted January 28, 2004 The more of these Enigma customs I see, the more I'm starting to want one. No way would I be brave enough to customize my one and only 1/48, but I do have a couple of spare 1/60's. Hmmmm..... Oh yeah, just remembered something: I am "teh suck" at painting. Quote
ChristopherB Posted January 28, 2004 Posted January 28, 2004 Mike, Great job on the Enigma custom! I am definitely impressed. I can tell that you put a lot of work into it, and I know from experience as a long time customer of yours, that the camera never does true justice to your skills. Keep up the great work, and I look forward to talking to you when time permits. Sincerely, Christopher Quote
GreenGuy42 Posted January 28, 2004 Posted January 28, 2004 Dude, I don't think I'll ever get tired of wonderful customs... keep 'em comin'! Beautiful man. Quote
