jvmacross Posted June 8, 2021 Author Posted June 8, 2021 OK...so I found the book where I had seen the umbrella before....at first I was stumped becuase I recalled that it was in one of the TIA books...#3 to be exact....so pulled out a copy and it wasn't there...then I remembered that it was on the original run of the book, not the reprint..... Easy way to tell the two apart is the price...original was 780 JPY...reprints were 1000 JPY.... ....the image is on the second to the last page...Page 119....the reprint has a selection of model kit pics....the original print showcases a bunch of the "lower priced" Macross toys and collectibles of the SDFM era...... ...as you can see...same umbrella design, however it appears to be two-toned...so at minimum 2 variants!.....the hunt never ends.......
