Well, it's news. Good or bad? Time will tell. Personally, I'm alright if they continue with the Kelvin-timeline. Beyond was pretty good, if still riding the too-familiar trope of Big Bad Wants to Destroy Earth. Again.

But maybe it is time for something new. New crew, new ship, and something far out there rather than constantly coming back to Sector 001.
