Can't be bothered to find the post, but the A24 war movie Warfare is apparently getting rave reviews. I'll try to catch it this week, after Sinners.

I'm sure it'll be derp. That being said the last good Michael Bay film was Pain & Gain back in 2013 ihmo. I recommend it if you hadn't seen it yet. Its a low budget (for Michael Bay) film and was based on a true story, Bay should do more movies like that instead of the big budget or low IQ films.

I don’t know if it ever really had a theater run, I only remember it kinda late night on HBO or Cinemax around the nineties

I never even saw the original film. Already felt played out by the SCREAM movies back in the 1990s.
