GBP Roy

Hi,

New here and love Macross. 

I have question about the GBP Roy . Is it an armor set to fit the coming VF1S (similar to Super part set)? Release date?

It was just a thought, not an official product announcement, and will likely never be made.

Sorry, that was on my phone so I kept it brief. Welcome to the boards. Wish they were making that Roy GBP, they've done crazier things, but it seems unlikely.

Would be nice if they made it. Looks great. A shame if not. It would break the monotony of buying every version of regular GBP’s

So, this is an armor set, very nice!

If Bandai built these GBP prototypes and showed to public, the mold and most of the works for these parts should be ready? It could be higher chance that they will make it - my 2 cents.

They're definitely going to make the anime colors GBP, it's just the Roy and Max colors they showed that are unlikely. They make lots of one off stuff for shows, probably to gauge interest.

In the past I would have expected non-canon schemes to be completely in the realm of Yamato, but there is some recent precedent for non-canon stuff coming from Bandai....the most recent being the HMR Focker VF-4...so it's possible they may want to get more out of their GBP DX mold....especially separate TV and DYRL versions

Agree. One non-canon GBP at a time.

Of course if they are announced i will have to buy to see whats the fuss is all abt.

I don't care if it's canon or not, I think the Roy colors look the best! A bit less cartoony...Maybe if it's just a recolor they'll release it TWE?

So forgive me, but it’s been so very long ago that I’ve watched Macross or DYRL. Roy never appeared in GBP, right?  Otherwise, this GBP armor is beautiful.

Not the GBP as seen in SDFM or DYRL.....the closest would be in Macross Zero where his VF-0 did get equipped with that VF's version of the GBP armor....
