Hi guys,

I am running a quick survey on UN Spacy limited stand.

I am considering offering this for one last time during Christmas time.

Please let me know your thoughts.  Thanks!

1. Yes, I need them.

2. May be, I will consider buying

3. No, I already have enough.

4. Offer BASE plate only option

#3 for me.  I would love some Skull Squadron limited editions!

That is in development right now.

We expect to have them in Q2 of 2025.

Curious: Is there an attachment for, or do one of the current ones support, a Yamato/Arcadia SDF-1? Also, would the Pro or any other stand support it if so?

Unfortunately, no there is nothing available for SDF.

Looking over old threads, someone did 3D print an attachment for a Yeti stand, and had it on there. If it's possible, maybe you can consider it? I mean, Arcadia has said a reissue will come...

if reissue does come, then we can consider it.  Thanks for the info.

Archistands got here. For a Lego-brained DIYer... I'm going to have fun with these. Building and lighting my new cabinet, but once I'm done I'll be all over these.

Since I got it at a steal risking my life buying it via Facebook marketplace my wife gave me a hall pass.

I know the 1/48 Yamato adapters are no longer listed for sale, and that you have a link to a designer who has the 3D Print files, but if one doesn't have a 3D printer to print them, it seems rather difficult to buy the files, and then start shopping for yet another place to have them printed.

Do you think you'll ever have the 1/48 Yamato adapters back? I would have bought a couple on my first two orders if they were still available.

I’d love to see this option as well.

Guys

If you are talking about that 3D file, it was not created by me. I simply put up a link to support the guy who created it.

You guys should PM Devin aka"anasazi37" on here and ask him to see if he could sell you guys adapters.

Thanks and Merry Xmas!

My apologies for getting the wrong end of the stick! I read "The Yamato 1/48 VF-1 adapters for Archi Stands are now on Cults3D." as them as formerly appearing on your site.

Perhaps you meant as compared to Yeti ones?

Either way, I do hope @Anasazi37 can help. :)

When I first designed the Yamato 1/48 VF-1 adapters for Archi Stands, because Yeti Stands and adapters were no longer available, I approached Eugene about the possibility of him selling prints through his store. They would be relatively low-volume items, compared to everything else he offers, and he explained that he has limited free time to maintain the store and process orders (totally understandable). It didn't make sense to either of us to go that direction. He kindly offered to post a link to the digital files on Cults 3D so folks would at least know about them when they purchased stands. The downside of this approach is that you either have to print the adapters yourself (moderate level of experience required for them to turn out right) or go through a third party print service (which can increase the cost quite a bit and you don't know what you're going to get).

I'm in a similar situation to Eugene, where I don't have a lot of free time, so it's not practical for me to offer prints for sale. I learned the hard way from offering custom waterslide decals to this community for more than 23 years that fulfilling orders takes a lot of time. With that said, I'm willing to consider doing a print run for a small number of people. Send me a PM with what you want.

I've posted these before, but relevant again --  I had my friend print out some of @Anasazi37's adapters in a grey low-vis color to match my 1/48 Yamato and they look great with the Gokinplus stands!

Looks great! I'd take that color if clear isn't possible.

I remember when you posted those pics. It's nice to see printed adapters out in the wild. I really like how the filament color blends in with the low-vis paint scheme.

I print mine using clear filament (personal preference). I designed them so that they could be printed in PLA, which offers a wide range of color options, to include some decent clear ones. You can see an example of it on the Cults 3D page. It's a pretty close match to the Archi Stand adapter, which is also 3D printed. I've tried printing the adapters in clear PETG, which is much stronger, but I think it's overkill, it takes more effort to clean up the parts, and they don't look quite as nice. And "clear" is relative here. You can't print crystal clear parts with a filament (FDM) printer. They turn out something closer to translucent white. It's possible to get crystal clear parts with a resin printer, but you'd have to use ABS-like resin (to support the weight of the valk), have your printer dialed in to the point where no air bubbles get trapped inside the parts, and avoid marking up surfaces during cleaning and curing (unless you want to do a lot of sanding afterwards). Much easier said than done. I spent a lot of time, and went through a lot of resin, figuring out how to do it for relatively small canopies for starship models. The adapters are a lot more complex.

Oh, I'm not fixated on them being clear if that's not a reasonable goal. I do prefer function over form here. :)

Since I don't print anything and all of my items are produced by my supplier in Korea who also doesn't have tons of capacity, we are not able to add on Devin's adapter in our portfolio.  This is why I had put up the 3D file link on my site so users anc customers have at least the option to 3D file for potential prints.  I hope you all understand.

Thank you!

Which version of the Archi Pro stands work best for the Yamato 1/48? The long or the short arm?

Personally speaking, short arms do the best for 1/48 yamato.

Now, if you are also thinking about gerwalk & battroid....then I would have to say long arm may be better due to clearance from the base of the stand.

All in all, it really comes down to personal preference though.

I received my order today and am very impressed with @BroTaku79 work on the stands! It's nice to finally be able to mount the Valk's flying in a straight line...

I do Hope @BroTaku79 will be able to also do the Skull Squadron set! But very happy how well they look on the Bandai DX series! 🤗

It would be cool if you could just replace the emblems like the ones on the Bandai DX Super/Strike parts so you can use the same stand on multiple toys.
