Big s Posted January 17, 2017 Posted January 17, 2017 Kotobukiya rereleases their abs joint packs in a variety of sizes and types that may be useful for a ball joint replacement. And if you can't find figure hands you may be able to mod some of the round zeon hands for gundamkits, they have a few different sizes available. Quote
505thAirborne Posted January 17, 2017 Posted January 17, 2017 Thanks Big s. I'll those parts a try! Now if there was just a way to make the visors blue like the in the series. Quote
Big s Posted January 19, 2017 Posted January 19, 2017 If it was a clear visor you may be able to just use a layer of tamiya clear blue. Quote

I wonder if some blue ink or food coloring mixed with Future would do the trick? Future has the advantage of being tougher than Tamiya paint. Quote
Tober Posted February 16, 2017 Posted February 16, 2017 So, Wonderfest is this weekend. Any chance of seeing updates for the Evo' Toys Legioss? Or maybe something that looks good instead? Quote
jenius Posted February 16, 2017 Posted February 16, 2017 I miss playing with my Mospeada toys... let's hope to see something that encourages me to pull some back out. Quote
Graham Posted February 16, 2017 Posted February 16, 2017 Are we really pinning our hopes on Evolution toys? We all know how that is gonna end! Quote

I mean it's the ONLY Mospeada toy out there that it's going to be produced. Let's face it, it's Evolution Toy. You know, the company that ruined VF-2SS. But that doesn't stop people or half of the members here (me included) to get excited or looking forward too during the initial 'revelation' of the product. Maybe they learned their lesson or two on the recent VF-2SS toys. So let's just wait and see if ever there's new updates on their Alphas... err... I mean, LEGIOSS. Always think positive. jenius Posted February 16, 2017 Posted February 16, 2017 (edited) Whatever happened to the Beagle Fook ride armor? Whoever got it should ship it to me so I can play with it. Edited February 17, 2017 by jenius Quote
chaff.g Posted February 17, 2017 Posted February 17, 2017 Here's a preview of Evolution's showing at Wonderfest this weekend: Quote
jenius Posted February 17, 2017 Posted February 17, 2017 Woof... looks like a scaled up CM's and that's not a compliment. Quote
505thAirborne Posted February 17, 2017 Posted February 17, 2017 Maybe fighter mode looks better....? Quote
Graham Posted February 17, 2017 Posted February 17, 2017 Maybe Evolution bought the tooling from CMs' when they went bust. Quote
Convectuoso Posted February 17, 2017 Posted February 17, 2017 I think the intakes look much better on this one than they did on the CMS. Quote
seti88 Posted February 17, 2017 Posted February 17, 2017 (edited) Will wait to see more shots of the big guy since it still looks like a prototype with tapes...Those tiny ride armors already look quite detailed tho! Edited February 17, 2017 by seti88 Quote
SuperHobo Posted February 17, 2017 Posted February 17, 2017 At first glance, they share a lot of similarities, but when you put them side by side, EVO has done a better job on the sculpt. It still come down to build quality and after I handled the 2SS I don't see this guy holding together all too well either. However, prove me wrong EVO toys! Do better! Quote
Mog Posted February 17, 2017 Posted February 17, 2017 They wanna impress me? Pose that Legioss with the legs in a wide, bent knee stance, and have the arm holding the gun posed straight out to the side, parallel to the ground. (Think standard James Bond pointing gun pose.) If it can hold that pose, we'll know it's a solid piece. I doubt they'll have the stones to do it though. Quote

derex3592 Posted February 17, 2017 Posted February 17, 2017 I'm cautiously optimistic, looks pretty good so far I gotta say, I'm impressed with little rider/bike details! Quote
chaff.g Posted February 18, 2017 Posted February 18, 2017 Neat looking 1/400 Horizont kit at Wonderfest: Quote

Tober Posted February 18, 2017 Posted February 18, 2017 Neo Mospeada!? Okay, trying to remain calm... Where's the bazooka? Quote
jenius Posted February 18, 2017 Posted February 18, 2017 Yes! Not going with the anime look but this interpretation looks sharp. Quote
captain america Posted February 18, 2017 Posted February 18, 2017 A very agreeable facelift indeed! Quote
SuperHobo Posted February 18, 2017 Posted February 18, 2017 YES YES YES IT'S HAPPENING! But, that cloth better be more durable than the crap they used on the 1/10 beagle release because that garbage flaked off like golden brown puff pastry dough. Quote

Mazinger Posted February 18, 2017 Posted February 18, 2017 Exciting times indeed! I had wondered what had happened with Save's MOSPEADA related announcement from a year ago. Ride armor transformations are always tricky, and my CMS's Yellow also has issues holding a pose. I hope this improves on that in lots of ways, and that we get a Houquet. Quote
Valkyrie Hunter D Posted February 18, 2017 Posted February 18, 2017 Riobot? As in Sentinel? Wow, a T-Rex designed Cyclone! Quote

I only have Rand's version and the fabric has held up, yet all I hear from others are issues with Scott. Not cool for that price. I think someone on Facebook posted a picture of a new suit they made for his Scott figure, looked really good. Quote
