Too good to be true, indeed. As soon as I receive my abominable trinket I'll be filing a complaint with Walmart and PayPal and my CC (CC through Paypal because of the added protection... once had a previous Walmart account hacked and my CC# on file stolen). And I expect to be reimbursed for the return shipping too; this has nothing to do with the money, a pittance, but with the principal of not standing for being defrauded by a dishonest bunch of A-holes.

Edit: In light of glane21's post, if ToyNK handles my complaint the same way, I'll be mollified.

Hey, free keychains! ToyNK handled it well.

----------------

We apologize for the issue with your order. Walmart uses a system to automatically link our products to listings and the item was mapped incorrectly. We have issued a full refund for the order and there is no need to return the item. Please allow 3-5 business days to see the credit.

We are sorry for any inconvenience this has caused.

Thank you,

Mine isn't even supposed to arrive until the 29th. UGH.

EDIT: Got the refund.

I didn't have to say anything: Walmart just did an automatic refund to my credit card.

Ditto! I feel much better now.

Yes folks, this certainly was way too good to be true; but given the refunds, it was worth a shot... worst case scenario: toss the whatever it is in the garbage as soon as it's delivered, so no harm no foul. If this was indeed Walmart's fault, I sure hope they reimburse Toynk for their foul-up.

The sad part however, is that this went from the best deal ever, to the biggest disappointment in a while.

^^This on every level! Just once it would be nice to get that awesome score, as a Mospeada fan I was very excited by this.

I wouldn't know. I haven't watched a single episode since the Preview Special left a sour taste in my mouth. I take it Delta has been 7-level cringe worthy for the most part, then?

I haven't, too, but gleaning from the current episodes-threads, seems that the Delta anime-team simply forgot how to macross...

:bump:

I was thinking it was too good to be true, but I was expecting that they would catch it before the item shipped. I had something like this happen with an Amazon seller who was selling a Yamato V2 Hikaru VF-1A for $50. I was thinking that it must have been some kind of mistake, but I took a chance since Amazon is pretty good about making things right if something goes wrong with an order. The day after I placed the order, I got an e-mail from the seller (who was in Japan) saying they made a mistake with the listing and that it was supposed to sell for higher. To his credit, he did offer to sell the item to me at the listed price, but added that he would be taking a loss so he would appreciate if I cancelled the order (which is what I ended up doing).

It has been pretty variable, but overall a fairly solid program. Many of the complaints people had with the first episode have not carried forward to the rest of the series.

And then the last couple episodes they gave up and just crapped the bed.

I left off after the mid season half way point with Delta, which was fairly ok up to that point, Frontier was/is better IMHO, I guess I should wade back into Delta and play catch up so I can at least see what all the whining is about!:D

I didn't think about it until the hmr dougram, but man I would like the treatment they gave macross recently in the hmr line. Imagine not only legious, but tread and even enemy mecha.
