VF5SS Posted July 28, 2013 Posted July 28, 2013 http://www.shapeways.com/model/1212136/reg-hands-closing.html Here is the other Legioss hand. I adjusted the index finger a bit and removed the slot for the gun. Quote

troyness Posted July 31, 2013 Posted July 31, 2013 So it,s a Mospeada NOT back type situation ? Quote
Ignacio Ocamica Posted July 31, 2013 Posted July 31, 2013 Unfortunately that's the situation!!! Quote
Gubaba Posted July 31, 2013 Posted July 31, 2013 So it,s a Mospeada NOT back type situation ? Well, the blu-ray is coming out this year, which might stimulate some new interest... but yeah... don't get your hopes up. Quote
troyness Posted August 2, 2013 Posted August 2, 2013 Ooh BD!! I holding out for 35th B'day, hope we see the beagle mold..... Quote
Hoptimus Posted August 9, 2013 Posted August 9, 2013 Nice. I never got a beagle as I was holding out for a Blow Superior... Quote
Smut Peddler Posted August 9, 2013 Posted August 9, 2013 Nice. I never got a beagle as I was holding out for a Blow Superior... ........ Quote
mechaninac Posted August 10, 2013 Posted August 10, 2013 ... and the fact that Beagle folded before producing the Fuke and Yellow types really 'Blows Superior'... Quote
Hoptimus Posted August 10, 2013 Posted August 10, 2013 Yup lol!!! EXO's quote on the matter is in my sig... Quote
Gakken85 Posted August 11, 2013 Posted August 11, 2013 (edited) I just transformed my Ray for the first time. It wasn't as bad as people make it out to be. The instructions are some of the best I've ever seen. However, I did have some issues. I think around step 56 it got a little annoying, but the worst part for me was getting the arms all connected. It wasn't very clear. And flipping the shoulders. And one side of the chest doesn't seem to want to come forward enough to stay connected. Also, I can't get the tire thrusters to pop out either. Not sure why. AND it doesn't appear that the stand and back want to slot together... anybody else have that issue? Edited August 11, 2013 by Gakken85 Quote
SuperSenpai Posted August 11, 2013 Posted August 11, 2013 (edited) The main difficulties I had with transformation were getting the transformed armor suit to peg into the holes on the figure's backside properly -- I don't think I got all of them in. Nonetheless, the thing seemed to hold together. I also used a transformation guide on YouTube in addition to the manual. Personally, I think all modern transforming toys should just send you a link to a video to show you how to transform the thing. Having transformed it once and back to cycle mode, I usually keep mine displayed in cycle mode. I have a Gakken ride armor toy that I keep displayed in armor mode since the figure for that toy can't really ride the bike in the cycle mode. Edited August 11, 2013 by SuperSenpai Quote
Gakken85 Posted August 11, 2013 Posted August 11, 2013 Well, I deformed it and wiggled everything around, then took his cod piece off and I finally got everything in a decent set-up. I got the stand working too! haha. Quote
Hoptimus Posted August 11, 2013 Posted August 11, 2013 Still sad there was no VR-038 or VR-041. Damn nice looking figures! Quote
Gakken85 Posted August 11, 2013 Posted August 11, 2013 (edited) Maybe somebody will bring it back some day. Ray was always my favorite so I'm happy haha I'd love to see slightly larger feet, better chest locking, and better material on the doll. Edited August 12, 2013 by Gakken85 Quote
DarrinG Posted August 12, 2013 Posted August 12, 2013 The ride armors change modes? : ) I try to avoid that. Keeping them in bike mode is less stressful and I get to display EXO's saddle bags... Quote
Gakken85 Posted August 12, 2013 Posted August 12, 2013 Looks good! I see those Brutish dog feet too! haha. I much prefer it in Armor mode. Love that design and look. I'm not crazy about the white and black stripes on Scotts either, so that's another win for Ray. I'm debating putting some stickers on, but I usually don't do that. Quote
derex3592 Posted August 12, 2013 Posted August 12, 2013 (edited) GREAT setup! I love the Beta missile firing effect!!! that last pic almost makes me almost want to track down a toynami shadow fighter..almost... Edited August 12, 2013 by derex3592 Quote
varitechs Posted August 12, 2013 Posted August 12, 2013 great !! Where did you find Beta missile firing effect?? Quote
DarrinG Posted August 12, 2013 Posted August 12, 2013 The firing effect is from the V2 GBP - I think there is one for sale on MW right now. They're fun and fit a lot of mechs besides the GBP... Quote
Benson13 Posted August 12, 2013 Posted August 12, 2013 great !! Where did you find Beta missile firing effect?? Hit up Zoffy. He makes all that stuff. Quote
varitechs Posted August 13, 2013 Posted August 13, 2013 They're fun and fit a lot of mechs besides the GBP... Okkkkkk i didn't knew.... But the effect is great Quote
DarrinG Posted August 13, 2013 Posted August 13, 2013 You can see in this pic the GBP shoulder missile effect looks like it was made for the Beta. The smoke goes exactly around the chest cylinders on the Beta. BUT do check with Zoffy for some custom effects - I've posted some of his work around MW threads just recently... Quote
Alex Posted August 15, 2013 Posted August 15, 2013 Does anyone have any images of 1/12 or 1/10 Blow Superior transforming customs? I started but abandoned a 1/10 Stick just before the announcement of the Beagle. With that line dead, i'm, going to fill that gap with a custom. I'll most likely use the 1/12 Imai kit as that line was pretty near 1/10 scale with a few adjustments. Quote
Hoptimus Posted August 15, 2013 Posted August 15, 2013 I don't think anyone attempted one here yet. I would know. Quote
robodragon Posted August 15, 2013 Posted August 15, 2013 Here is one I made a long time ago as a mix of Scott ant Yellow. One maybe this will help. I used the shield from the 1/12 model with the Gakken Scott. Seamed close enough at the time. Quote
Alex Posted August 16, 2013 Posted August 16, 2013 I like it Do you think the 1/12 Blow Superior shields are big enough for a Beagle figure? I'm keeping an eye out for a decently priced Stick Beagle to replace my broken one. The broken one will be customized into a Yellow. Quote
varitechs Posted August 16, 2013 Posted August 16, 2013 .... The broken one will be customized into a Yellow. I want to see Quote

Alex Posted August 16, 2013 Posted August 16, 2013 Completely forgot about this. It kills me to think that this prototype is probably only within a few miles of where I live. Quote
