Yeah, just a little punchy.

I have my gripes and nits about the Sentinel toys.  But overall, they’re a pretty damn good Mospeada set.  You got renditions of all four of the main characters in their ride armors.  Despite the updated interpretation, there’s not too many questionable deviations from the original designs.

They made some incredible modifications to the transformation process for the Legioss, making it compact and locked in fighter mode but with solid joints for armo-soldier mode.  

AND they did some nice design improvements with the upcoming Tread.

CM’s probably has the larger spread of Mospeada toys out there.  But they’ve got those breakage issues for the bikes; non-turning heads, the tailfins that don’t completely hide for combo mode, and other issues with the Legioss; and that utterly horrible combined fighter-bomber look for the Legioss-Tread.

I appreciate your kindness, patience, and willingness to educate.  🙂  I've been a loyal fan of MW from the very beginning, but I haven't always paid close enough attention to the "culture" and rules of each board here.  I've been a more regular contributor lately, and I think I'm finally getting the gist of the boards/threads I track, but I'm going to make another absent-minded mistake at some point.  I guarantee it.

And I've had plenty of CMs.  I've gone through multiple "cyclone phases" where I bought everything I could find only to hear my wife (who's an engineer and mecha fan) ask the question, "Don't you have like 10 of those already?"  🙂  I just point to her shoe closet and peace is restored.

I thought it was humorous and didn't take any offense.  If there was any concern.  I was multitasking when composing my post and I probably didn't try hard enough to match your humor and tone.  It's 2:00 AM here.  Let's blame it on fatigue.  🙂  But thank you as well for adding to jenius' contribution!

I'm really looking forward to the Tread.  I was so very disappointed by the Masterpiece versions.

I still have a poop-ton of respect for the old MPC Beta.  Solid ratchet-joints galore.  A cockpit and pilot in the same scale as the Alpha.  The combined fighter looking like a cohesive connected unit.  

Even the bloody stickers were superior to what Yamato was churning out for the 1/48 VF-1’s!  (Most of the NO STEPS and smaller stickers from Yamato had a gauzy look to them.  The Beta’s were much clearer.)

Yes, they compromised with just folding down the cockpit for battloid mode.  Yes, there’s no top shoulder missiles.  And there’s large gaps in bomber mode.

But it’s still been the best version of the Tread/Beta for the past 15+ years.

As much as I'm not a fan of the CM's Legioss, their Tread was much better. Of course, since half the fun is connecting the Tread to the Legioss, the CM's Tread was handicapped. Oh boy, I must have had a lot more free time when I dug everything out to take this picture! Needless to say, I am REALLY looking forward to the Sentinel.
