troyness Posted September 8, 2012 Posted September 8, 2012 (edited) Thanx Lobizon! Next year it is then. Yamato give us a beagle 1/6 ride armor with no cloth, more detail, all screw holes hidden on bike and soldier. More tighter peg/friction fit: tank and seat connection (same goes for windshield) PT -I'm talking not taking the head off during transformation ,and if I may be so bold as to suggest: removeable soldier armor, saddle bags and weighted legs/feet for more posing options and last but not least an extra attachment on the display stand so you can pose a "wheelie" in rider mode. Did I leave anything out?? Oh yes my cake so I can eat it to. Come yamato most of the hard work is already done. .........hey yamato just do a pre-order ,less shelf warmers there right? There ain,t no ride armor saturation going down 2013 , and if your too late to the party for 2013 we can wait another year, we've got youth on our side!! Roll something up ,put it in the air and get those creative juices flowing . Don't make me expand and turn green while still managing to keep my purple pants on!!! Smut Peddler Posted September 26, 2012 Posted September 26, 2012 Does anyone know if the CM legioss is the same scale as the Toynami Alphas ? Thanks in advance. Quote
Tober Posted September 26, 2012 Posted September 26, 2012 Does anyone know if the CM legioss is the same scale as the Toynami Alphas ? Thanks in advance. Not quite, but they are close. Thanks jenius. Quote
EXO Posted September 26, 2012 Posted September 26, 2012 I would consider the CMs non scale. Especially the Tlead. Quote
jenius Posted September 27, 2012 Posted September 27, 2012 Not quite, but they are close. Thanks jenius. Nice... there's a better pic that sums it up though: Quote
EXO Posted September 27, 2012 Posted September 27, 2012 that Gakken is a fakken monster! someone needs to send you Captain's Legioss to add to that comparison pic. Quote
jenius Posted September 27, 2012 Posted September 27, 2012 I thought long and hard about buying one but limiting myself to finished licensed products is one of the few ways I can keep this hobby from getting outlandishly expensive. I'm sure we'll get some awesome Gakken comparisons pics at some point that will make me regret my decision. Quote
EXO Posted September 27, 2012 Posted September 27, 2012 Same here... I'm actually hoping someone needs one painted. I'd love to tackle it. Quote
Jasonc Posted September 27, 2012 Posted September 27, 2012 Funny, that in each one of those toys, there's major design flaws in each one. Also each one looks so different in design from the other. Quote
Smut Peddler Posted September 27, 2012 Posted September 27, 2012 Thanks for the info, I guess I'll grab one of CM's pilotless drones then. Quote
DarrinG Posted September 28, 2012 Posted September 28, 2012 Funny, that in each one of those toys, there's major design flaws in each one. Also each one looks so different in design from the other. The Toynami Masterpiece needs bigger feet... Quote
RD Blade Posted September 28, 2012 Posted September 28, 2012 But the Toynami has the biggest feet of... Oh, I see what you did there. Quote
jenius Posted September 29, 2012 Posted September 29, 2012 It looks like the Toynami has nearly the same sized feet as the Gakken 1/35. Quote
Jasonc Posted September 29, 2012 Posted September 29, 2012 The Toynami Masterpiece needs bigger feet... And Blue Oyster Cult needed more COWBELL. Gotcha. Quote
DarrinG Posted October 1, 2012 Posted October 1, 2012 You know, for some reason I did not notice how big the clown feet were until someone brought it up on MW. Now I cannot look the Toynami MP alphas without gluing my eyes to them. Smaller feet would have made the engines look much better in fighter mode as well... Quote
akim Posted October 3, 2012 Posted October 3, 2012 http://www.animenews...nime.php?id=449 Well, one day later for this 29th Mospeada anniversary, does it something scheduled? Quote
Old_Nash Posted October 3, 2012 Posted October 3, 2012 I completly forget about Mospeada Aniversary... Quote
whitestar Posted October 4, 2012 Posted October 4, 2012 How is everyone else dealing with the disintegrating cloth on their masterpiece cyclone Scott? The cloth on the crotch area has started to rip apart and the red coating has flaked off. Has anyone ever replaced the cloth suit with a custom-made one? Quote

troyness Posted October 4, 2012 Posted October 4, 2012 How is everyone else dealing with the disintegrating cloth on their masterpiece cyclone Scott? The cloth on the crotch area has started to rip apart and the red coating has flaked off. Has anyone ever replaced the cloth suit with a custom-made one? I guess if you,ve displayed it and never really touched it the cloth might last in terms of it ripping. If you,ve displayed it in a airtight display case/cabinet maybe it won,t flake But if your like me and couldn,t keep my hands off it and posed/transformed it the cloth will both rip/flake. I bought 3 sticks and 2 leys. the first stick I opened after a few seated poses the crotch tore, after a few mths tears in his biceps and flaking on stomach. My 2nd stick and 1st ley crotch tore on the first time I gave them a seated pose. I,ve left my 3rd stick and 2nd ley in their boxes. I think EXO took off the cloth (if I remember correctly) , that,s why I wish yamato would reissue it without cloth(I think rubber would be just as troublesome) and with molded/jointed arms/legs. The toy has a few other minor problems, but the cloth was it,s biggest downfall. Quote
whitestar Posted October 4, 2012 Posted October 4, 2012 Thanks Troyness! It's a shame about the cloth. I'm not a person who keeps things MIB but I am very careful with these toys. Now, time to hunt for EXO's pic of the de-clothed Stick. Quote
Ignacio Ocamica Posted October 4, 2012 Posted October 4, 2012 I haven't experienced any problems with the cloth. I have the Beagle versions (Stick and Rei). Quote
EXO Posted October 4, 2012 Posted October 4, 2012 Now, time to hunt for EXO's pic of the de-clothed Stick. that's what she said. Quote
EXO Posted October 4, 2012 Posted October 4, 2012 FYI, I used heat shrink tubing. I actually sold that one to Gilermo... so I have to do it again. I'll put a tutorial when I do. Quote
DarrinG Posted October 5, 2012 Posted October 5, 2012 Have we ever run into anyone who worked for Matchbox during the Robotech years? And asked them what they were thinking?? Why Stick has the chest of the converted cycle on when he's still riding the bike? I mean, an 8 year old can see that after 10 minutes of show or line art study... Quote
Ignacio Ocamica Posted October 5, 2012 Posted October 5, 2012 Well, the headsculpt is an atrocity too Quote

Jasonc Posted October 6, 2012 Posted October 6, 2012 I saw Exo's figure with the heat shrink tubing. It's solid, and pretty cool All I have left, is my Schtick figure. Plan to keep that one. Quote
kanedaestes Posted October 8, 2012 Posted October 8, 2012 Cloth is ripping on me too and I have been trying to figure out how to fix that but I am not crafty with cloth materials. Exo if you plan on doing a small production on this material I am so in. Quote
