Hi Guys,

I finished the pilot Jim (Lunk) for the jeep truck. Scale 1:48, very difficult to paint on that scale and with a brush.

The joints are similar to a MASK Kenner but on this scale

Oddly, I’ve seen them more on American sites than the usual Japanese ones like hlj or hobby search

I'm quite curious about this myself.  Its not like most of the websites that are selling it are reselling the Sentinel exclusive version.

I haven't visited Macrossworld in ages. The Sentinel Riobot Tlead/Tread/Beta brought me back.

I wanted to also share some pics of my cousins 100% scratchbuilt Horizont he made. It was a long process, he modeled it on the computer, then some of it was 3d printed, others were made out of plastic sheets IIRC. I thought it was REALLY well done. He asked if I was interested in letting him build my old Moscato 1/32 Legioss and I definitely will let him, but I also kinda want to sell it, but I don't think it will fetch as much as I paid for it.

I added some of the other models and projects he's done.

A wonderful assortment of displays. I really like the Gunstar and the vessel from seaQuest DSV.

I'm just wondering, how canon are the missiles? I'm so used to remembering micro-missiles being fired instead that I don't really recall full-sized ones being used. But then again these Sentinel Mospeada mechs are technically reinterpretations.

They never really had a full payload on the Tread’s wings in the actual anime.

But it just looks kewl with weapons fully loaded on the bomber or the combo.

Yeah, this is weird.  They're not on the US versions of the HLJ or HobbySearch websites.

I know sentinel never bothered with a Robotech license, but that shouldn't matter. We bought all our macross items from HLJ for years. Sentinel is shooting themselves in the foot here.

Yeah, not selling them from the other shops is bizarre.  There weren't any limits on the Legioss like this.  Maybe they weren't expecting something this expensive to sell, and decided to keep the production numbers much lower?

The exchange rate is probably hurting this one though.  The Yen price is much higher than the Legioss was, but on our end it doesn't feel that much more.. what about $50 more for something that much bigger?

Just for fun, I tried the Gundam model trick at hobbysearch and both releases show up. You have to erase the English part of their url and the website comes in Japanese text and the second page for anime robots and it comes up a bit further down since the preorder was up the other day.they usually do this for items that they don’t sell outside Japan, like the Gundam model kits. I’ve never seen them do this for any non Bandai item though. I don’t think it’s the extra missiles or anything.the same page below is in a slightly different order in English, but missing these two toys
