Mog Posted September 15 Posted September 15 Could have swore they had the prototype long before they partnered up with Aoshima. Quote

no3Ljm Posted September 16 Posted September 16 Yep! As @shazam pointed out... Here's a cool screenshot from the promo videos above. Crystal is beaming the CYCLONE Weapon System. Quote
jenius Posted September 16 Posted September 16 (edited) Well, maybe those measurements are right if they're pasting them everywhere. That's a hefty piece also, sweet lord, like two DX YF-21s! Edited September 16 by jenius Quote

POWER EXTREME!😁 I really do like the the way this figure is presented in this video. I am still going to get this figure despite the lack of full transformation. I don't really play with toys. I just handle and adjust them, then put them on display. Edited September 17 by shazam Quote
CF18 Posted September 16 Posted September 16 Well no one could made perfect anime transformation with the rider still attached the bike anyway. So this one is more like Iron Man mark 42, at lease the price is quite reasonable for the size. Quote
rsvictor1976 Posted September 16 Posted September 16 I think it looks cool even though its not anime accurate and a parts-former. I've never had any Moshow figures before though so I'm just weary of the quality. Quote
danth Posted September 16 Posted September 16 Glad to know I was right to not care about this thing from the beginning! Quote
Alex GS Posted September 16 Posted September 16 Literally these are the reasons why I'm excited for this figure: Specifications Body Height: About 260mm Motorcycle Specifications: About 280mm in length / 150mm in Height Combined Weight: Approx. 1224g Product Material: Alloy Material, ABS, POM Brand:MOSHOW even thou the surprising upsetting parts forming thing, I think the PROS are way more than the CONS, also since Im big fan of the Bandai Myth Cloth EX Saint Seiya line so those armor parts aren't that bad cause the parts are coming from bike , but I totally understand fans of Mospeada why they don't like figure. Special thanks to @no3Ljm for putting / translating those specs, also there is light function I totally was unaware off , so extra point for this figure well at least for me Quote
Grey728 Posted September 16 Posted September 16 Love the size and don't care so much about perfect transformation based on my experience with Sentinel. The only thing I hate is Scott's face. Sentinel really nailed the look on their iteration. Quote
no3Ljm Posted September 16 Posted September 16 I'm actually not against about being a partsformer of this figure even though I got surprised when it was revealed that way. I actually like the height, the heft, and the price of this figure. And I'm pretty sure it's going to have a shelf presence. However, and this is probably just me, I didn't like the final design. I still prefer the initial design they showed which has more boxed design elements than the curved elements they ended up with. For some reasons, I really hate the feet. It's the one thing I can't unsee with this figure. Quote

CoryHolmes Posted September 17 Posted September 17 Hnnnnngh. It's pretty. It's going to live on my shelf in Battloid mode. It's going to look awesome for as long as I have it. The partsforming really shouldn't bother me... Quote
MKT Posted September 17 Posted September 17 (edited) Meanwhile, a nice in-hand video on Moshow's Cyclone. It weights in at a pretty hefty 1.2kg, but the good thing is it’s able to stand on its own in Ride-Armor mode. And though its parts-forming, each part have additional transformation steps on its own to go from one mode to other. I guess I’m starting to come around to the parts-forming, & the size really gonna have presence. It’s even cheaper than USD180 in Asia. For eg, in Singapore: https://www.tfh.com.sg/product-details.php?p=40337 Edited September 17 by MKT Quote
jenius Posted September 17 Posted September 17 Hmm, wonder where I can get the Moshow from to get it quickest. I assume if I buy it from BBTS I'll have to watch other people playing with it for two months before I get to. Quote

Also, looking less gappy in bomber mode, compared to the Toynami Beta. Could we finally have a worthy successor to take the crown? Additionally, hard points on both the top and bottom of the wings? 🤨 Edited September 17 by Mog Quote

Earlier on we speculated that the Legioss forearm slots are possibly where the Tread pegs on to, but looks like that is not the case now.. Are those slots now redundant? Edited September 17 by MKT Quote
Mog Posted September 17 Posted September 17 I’m still hoping for three solid connecting points. But I think @jenius stated that Sentinel was NOT going to use those slots to connect the Tread. Quote

Robin-11 Posted September 17 Posted September 17 That's great news! Another one of my bucket list item i can cross off....and they are rereleasing the legioss too! Quote

For eg, in Singapore: https://www.tfh.com.sg/product-details.php?p=40337 Firstly I thought the box would be much larger than shown. I am glad that the box is not oversized and sensibly places all the parts neatly inside. I like the use of the magnets in the gun to activate the lights on the Cyclone. I just hope that replacing the batteries with ease of access and does not become a chore. The figure of Scott has all the cues from a modern Hot Toys die-cast Iron Man figure. The Ride Armor is as heavy as a Hot Toys die-cast figure. I like the way the pistons move in the legs front and back. The parts attachment from Cyclone to Ride Armor seems simple enough. Its only the main body of the Cyclone that does most of the transformation. I could not see anywhere in the video where the riders legs clip onto the bike. The foot pegs seem to be in place, but not put into use. I don't have any issues with the look of the head sculpt for Scott. I am perfectly happy with pre-ordering this figure. 🤩 Edited September 17 by shazam Quote

The price and size are really tempting though. Good thing Sentinel gave me a reason to use my money on them instead... I'm dreading the price for the Tread but already conditioning myself to just accept however much it'll cost. Edited September 17 by m0n5t3r Quote
Perxion Posted September 17 Posted September 17 I waited too long, the Tread finally arrived. My forecast for the cost is $280 green boxes. what do you think? Regarding the moshow toy: Tthe fact that it is not a perfect transformation, discourages me a little. The price, aesthetics/design and size are very good, but the perfect transformation is decisive for me. Quote
Alex GS Posted September 17 Posted September 17 I think Im no longer upset for the partsforming thing, this cyclone looks amazing. Quote
Mog Posted September 17 Posted September 17 For the Tread, I still want to get a closer look at the fighter-bomber connection and make sure the two mesh well together when combined. But I’m also curious to see what the weapons layout will look like on the big burly bastard, including the built-in missile bays that others have done in their renditions. Quote

danth Posted September 17 Posted September 17 Tread looks great. I wonder how much the Legioss is truly nestled into the Tread in combined fighter mode. The angle in the pic could be hiding a gap, but I'm guessing it'll be close enough. Anyhow...exciting times! Quote
505thAirborne Posted September 17 Posted September 17 @Mog This is truly a good day to be a MOSPEADA fan for you... your Tread is finally a reality. With Sentinel re-releasing the ETA and now the Tread, I might have to go for it and get a set. That Tread looks mighty damn good. Quote
Mog Posted September 17 Posted September 17 ^^Yup, was worried I was gonna be stuck with this avatar for a long while. 😅 Make no mistake: I’m still keeping the old Toynami combo’s. . . for nostalgia purposes and because the Toynami Beta is still the best of those initial renditions of the Tread/Beta. But it is exciting times indeed! Quote
